This was my first car, a silver 2000 GT manual, and it was a blast to own. Comfortable interior, great gas mileage (34mpg on the highway) and cool styling. My only issues were significant oil consumption (approx. 1 qt./300mi), and no anti-lock braking system, but other than that, it was a reliable car that got me to school, work and plenty of adventures.

I have kept it "stock", it has over 200K miles and going strong. Just took a day trip 400-mile over Sierra-Nevada Highway 80 back and forth from Benicia, CA, and Reno, NV. I will just say I was in the lead, not a follower on the road. Gas usage is 400+miles to a 12-gallon tank. Major repairs: replaced air condition unit due to my error, catalytic converter, engine due to mechanic error.

For the price this car is amazing feels like a sports car. Highly recommend to get the gt-s model. Very reliable I only did oil changes every 3,500 miles and it never give me a problem.

It's still sporty 20 years later. Really ahead of it's time in terms of body style. Interior wise it's more of a 2 seater. Very comfortably I might add. The back seat really for kids I'd say. But don't let it fool you. When you drop the rear seats there is quite a bit of room. I can't tell you how many times I've heard. "All of that was in there?!" It also does well on gas. Street or highway. It's decent in terms of speed. But where it excels is in its handling. All of that out together, makes it an exceptional value and a fun drive.

This is my Fourth car from these Guys. Huge selection, they don’t push anything on u or pressure you. Really happy with their service. Highly recommend them.

I love this vehicle, it is everything you would want in a classic convertible. It is full of memories of the family member who was first owner and I've sadly decided it's time to move on. It would make a great seasonal car for anyone. It has never been driven year round - thus the low mileage. It has been garaged during winter months.

I still love the last generation of the Celica! I owned 3 a 2000 GT in white, black, silver all were automatics, only bc I couldn’t find a standard. I loved every one but every one was totaled one after another. I think it was me, I took a defensive driving class (court ordered) and realized that it really was me. I haven’t had an accident since 2009. I don’t blame the Celica but I credit it to saving my life 3x. I see them on the road on occasion but less and less. IMO the last Gen Celica was totally underrated. It just came at a bad time in American history, but it should be a part of automotive history. If you have one keep it and take care of it. If you have one and don’t care for it, sell it and give someone a chance to own their dream car.

pretty good car, simple, but still convenient and reliable and if you modify it enough, you might turn some heads. It reminds me of the supra and the miata combined. It shares similar parts with the supra and people tend to modify some celiacs to make them look somewhat like a supra, but then again it's just a celica. Like the miata, it's not a muscle car or anything, just a fun reliable, modifiable car.

I love my red Toyota Celica GT with the action package. I appreciate the fact that it is a five speed manual and how much fun it is. 140,000 miles and runs like Tony the tiger. Quick with precise steering and handling. The body style and aerodynamics are impressive. Even today the body style looks totally modern. The Celica does sit low to the ground and can be difficult for some people to get into. I have no problem with the rear window or blind spots. You just have to take the time to know your car. Very reliable with little maintenance needed. This is my second Celica. I had a 1977 hatchback that everyone wanted to drive back in the day.

This MK2 Supra has been a reliable car for over 3 decades. The car had a few minor issues that were resolved during the first few years of ownership (new igniter, wiper motor, fuel pump) but other than that just normal wear items such as new alternator, radiator, clutch, and air conditioning pump. This Supra is a sporty versatile car that is great for hauling large items once you fold down the independent fold down rear seats. The engine provides plenty of power for a 3000 lb car and the ride is smooth and solid. I get compliments such as "I love your car", "Nice car", "I've always wanted one of those", at least 2-3 times a week and even while sitting at a stop light.

The most reliable car I ever owned - yes. It has now 219,000 miles Original clutch. Its had minor repairs and a few break downs over the years - but continues to give reliable service. I plan to ride it to 250k this year. I will get a newer corolla when I decide its not reliable anymore but its cheaper to continue with this one.

I bought my 2003 Celica GTS brand new off the lot. I have always enjoyed driving it and still enjoy it. It was a daily driver for me, but I bought a Tacoma P/U, and retired my Celica, and have no intentions of selling it any time soon. It is so much fun to drive, although it is not driven much anymore. I have a little over 100,000 miles on it and still love to take it out for a spin once in a while....fast for a four banger!

It's everything expected! It moves and it handles and gets decent gas mileage! I have owned other Toyota and this is clearly better then the sporty Carola and the Nissan Sentra spec v. I have had a Supra and this is a great runner up!

we've owned this car for 15 years! It is a GREAT cat and the only reason we are selling it is because my wife needed a bigger (4 door) car. It has been well maintained. (I am a retired GM service manager). This would make a great first car for a teen or a second weekender for mountain or beach trips, just throw back the top and GO!

It’s a Toyota for starters! They are made to last for hundreds of thousands of miles. This vehicle is almost 19 and still purrs when I drive it. It gets excellent gas mileage, is fun to drive, is nimble and responsive and looks good too!

I own a 1982 Toyota Celica, it's a dream. Even at this age it draws looks on the road. (The credit goes to my mother-in-law, who kept it so well.) The power is still good, the mileage is excellent, The lines are great, the styling is a nice contrast to the cookie-cutter cars of today and the features such as seats, compartmental storage and interior lighting are thoughtful for the driver. The rear end on the later Celicas have a full flair, mine only flairs at the brake lights, but we can't have everthing now, can we? It has its shortcomings, such as no CD player, but in 1982 CDs didn't exis. The radio sound has gone tinny and buzzy, but that's on me to fix. Good looks, good driving, and the satisfaction of keeping a car for 29 years. A pleasure to drive and to own.
