I installed a hitch that i bought on Amazon for $120 and can carry 3 bikes on the back and can haul a 10 ft kayak in the back with a hitch Tee bar extension I use. I also had a trailer light kit installed so can pull a kayak trailer too. I bought the 5 new in 2012 and have 115k miles. It is super reliable and I use it to haul the family, bikes, and kayaks.

2006 Mazda5 five speed in red, 61K miles. It's a mini- mini van with a stickshift and a good 16V four cylinder that torques well at midrange. Niche vehicle, for sure. Most van buyers will want more room. Most won't consider a stickshift. And you can find more HP in a V6, or more MPG in a subcompact. But where else can you get something fun to dive that seats 6? Where else can you get a minivan with the longevity of a manual transmission? Also got 30 mpg on the road. Love it.

My goodness, this was the quickest and most pleasant car buying experience I've ever had. I was in and out of the dealer in about two hours including test drive. I worked with Todd in Sales and Amin the Sales Manager. Todd was super professional and never pressured me. When I arrived, the car was out front and I was test driving it within minutes. Todd was extremely friendly and low key and went through the features of the Mazda 6 while patiently answering all of my questions. The experience felt more like I was chatting about a car with a fellow enthusiast, rather than a sales person. Of course, I decided to buy the car and that's when Amin worked quickly and professionally to establish all of the paper work. He is also an extremely kind person and I enjoyed interacting with him greatly. I just could not believe I had found the exact car I was looking for, and was able to complete the purchase with zero hassles. I replaced my 2009 Mazda 5 with a 2016 model. There was some cost cutting to maintain the price point but it is a very practical vehicle with great value and economy. I like the loaded GT package with leather interior, sunroof and the 6-speed manual transmission.
