We have been shopping for a specific pre-owned Kia for about a month now. Have visited two dealers prior to Van Nuys Kia and interacted with about 8 other dealers via text, phone or email. Hands down, Umer Farooq at Van Nuys Kia is the absolute best. We had a price in mind that we were willing to pay, asked him to let us know if he had any cars that fit our criteria and send a written breakdown of the total out-the-door price. And he did! I’m sure the dealership made money on our deal, as they should, yet their offer was $5k less than a very similar car we had seen two days earlier. Not only that, he was professional, and very pleasant to deal with. Anyone who has spent time car shopping knows how tiresome it can be. I can not say enough good things about our experience with Umer. No surprises and no headaches. a superior experience all around, with special touches like the big red bow on the car for pics and a gong inside the dealership my son could hit to celebrate his very first car.

The service at Kia of Carson was much more promising than Kia Cerritos. The service was very straight forward. I came in for a tire since I hit a very bad pot hole and Tony Kim was super attentive at hearing my concerns. My only complaint would be the the amount of time I spent waiting for just a simple tire was disappointing. Unlike Kia Cerritos, they offer a free Lyft ride for up to 13 miles so that we aren’t stuck waiting like I did at Carson :( as far as I stand now, I would still recommend this dealership compared to Cerritos

Mia was great! We met her immediately after pulling into the dealer my sister and I had a plan to look around first without being pressured into something we didn’t want. Mia kindly explain the options I had to downsize from a telluride. We walked around the lot asked a lot of questions test drove 2 cars. I am now the owner of a new 2023 sportage! I waited in the car for about 3 to 5 minutes and finally a female by the name of Christina came up to me so I went to her work area to let her know about my concern. I let her know that I need an oil change because I'm going out of town with the family and a check on the back brake light because the sensor is coming out that it's not working. Sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't. For the brake light she said I would need a diagnostic which I would have to leave the car overnight I was not able to. For the oil change, I purchased a pre-maintenance paid when I bought the car last year2023. She was trying to charge me $90 for an oil change which I had told her that I already paid the maintenance contract when I bought the car. So I had told her I'm taking it somewhere else where it's cheaper. It makes no sense that I make the purchase for the maintenance when I bought the car if they're trying to charge me for the oil change. So I went to a different agent which I had worked with before named Johnny and he took care of everything. Do not go with Christina. She's all about money
