I was looking to replace my Saturn but had no idea what type of vehicle I wanted. I dread car lots, pushy sales staff and haggling on price. CarMax is different and a joy to work with. After checking out over a dozen different makes, models and features on their lot, I zeroed in on a 2015 Subaru CrossTrek. My brother checked the mechanics and after test driving we both felt this vehicle was a perfect fit for me. CarMax is unique. There is no pressure in purchasing. This car is simply amazing. It's my second electric car and my first BMW. The i5 gives me what I never knew I was missing from my previous car (Tesla Model 3). First, the comfort and silence of the i5's cabin is significantly better than anything I've driven before. It takes the bumps so comfortably and I love how my trips on the interstate are surprisingly quiet inside. The styling is gorgeous, too. Classic BMW sedan look, brought a few years into the future. Great balance between aggressive and refined. Inside, I love the giant display. Everything's there in sight, without having to switch back and forth between screens. Plus, I have just the right amount of physical controls so I don't have to use the touch screen all the time. Finally, the performance is incredible. I've got several modes to choose from, to fit my driving for the trip. Sport is obviously my favorite, especially with the sounds that are included! This was definitely the most expensive vehicle I've bought, but overall, I have no regrets... fit, finish, and feature-set are all top notch.

He went out of his way to help me feel safe transitioning from a 1999 manual transmission BMW to an automatic X1 one. I love this car, it has all the bells and whistles of a luxury car and a 300 mile range, full electric. I had the level 2 charger hooked up at my house and haven't been to the gas station since! This car does things I didn't even know it does--it can parallel park itself, pull out of a parking position by itself by using your phone (if you are parked too close to other vehicles to open door or if the car is in a muddy spot). After driving up to my gate callbox a few times (the clicker doesn't work so I have to enter the code) the car noticed I rolled the window down at that location, and asked if I'd like to have it automatically lower when we approach (which I do)! I love being able to put my foot under the hatchback if my hands are full and the trunk opening automatically. I was worried about running out of a charge, and granted, I haven't gone on any long trips yet, but charging overnight at home works perfectly fine for day to day usage. It is an expensive car, but I got a great deal leasing it and I think it's worth it. Slightly less trunk space than the x5 which I had before this, but as my kids have grown and moved out, I don't really need it as much. Surprising amount of torque--my husband was impressed.

My 2019 BMW X3 started leaking from the roof antenna (!?) this summer and the water shorted out the electronics until fault warnings lit up dashboard like a Christmas tree. Then, while the car was in the dealer's repair shop, the power steering unit failed for unexplained reasons. Since it was a BMW, the cost of fixing that was absurdly high (nearly $10K) for a five-year-old car. So I decided to get rid of it. At that point, sales consultant Dave Davila stepped up. He arranged a fair price for the trade in and got me into a new 2024 BMW X3 30i for a reasonable price. We negotiated over the phone yesterday and I drove the car home that afternoon. Dave was a pleasure to deal with - knowledgable, helpful and considerate. He spent hours showing me and my wife how to operate the new features, and making sure we were happy with the purchase. I love driving the car and fiddling with the new features, and I give Dave a five-star review for getting us through the process. I just hope the new BMW performs better than the last one.
