David went above and beyond by broadening his search efforts and received the blessing from a BMW dealership in Missouri who had my dream car with the exterior color, interior upholstery color, trim, and features/options I wanted my car to have. David was able to give me an extremely better, good faith offer than another BMW dealership in Maryland offered to me. The other BMW dealership’s good faith offer was significantly higher. David honored the fact that I requested for an offer via Edmunds. David was able to find and secure my dream vehicle and have it in Maryland by 11/7/2024, opposed to another BMW dealership in Maryland who found me another vehicle that was being shipped out of New Jersey, which meant that vehicle would have been in Maryland after 11/7/2024. David informed me of BMW’s military incentive, where as the other BMW dealership never mentioned this incentive to me. David informed me of BMW’s incentive where if anyone in my household currently owned a BMW, I could receive an incentive for that as well. The other BMW dealership never mentioned that incentive to me. David Davila gave me real time updates throughout the entire process while we were waiting for my dream vehicle to clear customs at the Port of Baltimore and the In-Transit Process by the Carrier. Finance Department employee, Pedro, was very thorough and informed me of great warranty’s and protection plans/coverages for my vehicle. Also, Pedro was very thorough in providing me with a few ways I could choose to finance my dream car. Finally, Amit, Product Specialist, gave me an extremely, thoroughly and detailed training session in setting up my BMW app, syncing the app with my dream car, how to use all of the features in my car. As a first time, BMW buyer and beyond pleased with the extremely high level of professionalism and customer service that I received from BMW of Silver Silver Spring and the Team members that I mentioned in this review throughout my entire experience in purchasing my dream car!

I had the pleasure of interacting with a salesperson, Desirea Jackson, and the sales manager, John Thomas. My experience at BMW of Silver Spring was 5-star, beginning from when I walked through the door and through when I drove my new 2025 X5 xDrive50e off the lot. Usually, if I know considerably more about a vehicle than the salesperson, I cut my visit short and look elsewhere or request another salesperson. Why? Because if the salesperson hasn’t taken the time to learn everything about his or her product, it tells me that I’m just a number and a commission and there will be a halfhearted follow up after the sale. However, in this case, Desirea knew the X5 inside out and even shared information with me that I didn’t discover in my research. She was also pleasant and professional without being pushy. Desirea walked me through the vehicle ordering process and ensured that I only added options that were necessary for me instead of pushing them on me for an increased sale. The sales manager, John Thomas, subsequently introduced himself and revisited my order request to ensure that I was happy before submitting it for processing. They both kept in touch with me via phone, email, and text to keep me informed of my order status despite explaining that I could track the process via the app. The fully loaded X5 arrived 22 days after placing my order and it was ready for pickup two days later. Desirea welcomed me and made me feel like a VIP throughout the pickup process and John gifted me an additional thank you gift. Thank you, John. I am sharing this because the sales persons at BMW of Alexandria and Passport BMW treated me like I was a nuisance instead of a serious buyer. By the way, I paid cash for my vehicle. Therefore, it is because of my experience with BMW of Silver Spring that I recommend them over their competitors in Camp Springs, MD and Fairfax, Virginia.
