This car is exceptional at everything its designed to do. It's super fast while very comfortable at the same time. Beautifully machined and ultimately timeless. Love the power to weight ratio and the car feels like its on rails.

This car is a gem. Incredibly fast and stunning to look at. I purchased my 01 m5 with just a hair under 60k miles. Passing power is exceptional blah blah blah but this car can be incredibly expensive to maintain even at 10 years old. Having mechanical knowledge is a plus and do your due diligence on yours before you purchase it.

This car is incredible. Note that I might be a little biased because this was my dad's first M car way back when, and I was basically born in this thing, but my 2000 M5 isn't leaving my ownership anytime soon. Threw a pair of HRE's and Continentals on there, and the xxxx thing just goes wherever you want it to go! It performs better the harder you drive it. And as a family car to drive my friends and family around in, or even do grocery trips with some fun in between stoplights, this may be the perfect car. For the money that they go for now, you can't get much more bang for the buck out of any car. As of late Aug, 2022, their market values have been on the rise as they're becoming less "old cars" and more "vintage supercars". The model year is from 2000 to 2003. The 2003 models will usually have the alcantara interior instead of leather, and it's a little facelifted. Nothing too noticeable. My 2000 is incredible enough. Awesome legroom in the front and back, a very BMW-esque reliable and forgiving engine and platform for beginners, and speaking of beginners, this is the car I used to learn how to drive a stick shift. Amazing clutch feel and response, and i would 10/10 recommend that you get a manual over the automatics because this era was near the beginning of automatic transmissions and they weren't that great in any car until like 2006/07 to be honest. Owned a 2009 BMW M3 Coupe for 5 years and loved every day. Was a hard recession parting with it and even harder finding a vehicle that would bring such fun and excitement to everyday driving. Looked at the new M3/4, the Jaguar F Type R, Mercedes SL550 and even Porsche. Finally settled on the M5 because it had equal to greater performance to the M3 but with vastly more comfort and usability ( at least to me). The M3 is great for twisty roads and quick acceleration between two points, but the M5 just eats long distances with comfort and style! It has huge power when needed and it's so effortless you have to keep an eye open to stay within the speed limits. Driving the M5 is fun and exciting, the electronic features make day to day living with car a pleasure. It's bigger than the M3/4, smaller than an M6 - with more inside room than both for 4-5 passengers, and Theron lies the driver behind the decision. If you want power, style , features and space for more than 2 people, you won't be unhappy with an M5.

Best Fun Car I Ever owned. Expensive on the maintenance side coming from a Honda. Has lots of torque and horsepower. New car now a days has too much technology. This M5 feels very raw.

Got a very good deal on a truck. Easy to work with. Jay is the guy to deal with! I found a couple small warranty items during inspection and they took care of it no questions. Mechanic working the shop is very knowledgeable and straight forward. Definitely looking here when I need another vehicle.

Great sleeper car aka king of highway! It's a quiet beast! Smooth, luxury, comfortable ride with the needed power when in demand. Black On Black makes heads turn and is quite noticeable in a positive way but also OG style. It’s the ultimate driving machine and not many problems as some people make it seem BMWs to have. I would say BMWs are hit or miss and F10 M5 competition are pretty reliable. Just like any other car, take care of it and it will not disappoint you.

I am a automotive mechanic and have been looking for an amazing car. Test drove GTR, SHELBY GT500, CORVETTE, SUPRA ECT. Never thought that a 4 door Sedan like an F10 M5 machine would change my mind on the whole situation. This is by far the best car you can get for the money and none of the others can even keep up with it

If you wanna buy a used M5 check the engine if it's mixing oil and water. if you wanna see it yourself. remove the engine oil cap. you'll see some mayonnaise. If you find some mayonnaise that means the engine will need to be replaced.

The ultimative driving machine! Very expensive car but well worth it in every aspect! I hope the car will find someone as me, that throughly appreciates it for what it is!

I toggled between 4&5 stars and I landed on 5 (which is hard to do with me)and I will tell you why.I started out with BMotors over a month ago looking at one particular 5th wheel and after it had been listed that it had some things that worked it actually didnt but well my son was a used car dealer for many years and this was the reason I asked for it to be checked.I know how things work in used vehicles its not always obvious even to the dealerships. They could have sold me it as it was but they were 100% honest and said they needed to put me in another trailer.This is the most important aspect of a dealership really. You get what they are saying! This new 5th wheel is more then double the price but its more then worth it and I am satisfied with it They did good by me and in house financed me on top of it. Bret was amazing and answered every time I text him a question or concern. When I was ready to haul this giant 5th wheel for the very first time with a truck I just purchased they actually had their service guy (and another employee follow)drive about 6 miles with me to get me out of the city and show me how to make the turns and show me how to use the brake system on the trailer.This is above and beyond!! enough with the talk about reliability issues. the 2009 build year has been a consistent and reliable performance sedan- the V10 engine is one of the most beatiful and linear driving experiences you can find in a sports sedan. handling is great for a 4 door mid size sedan. Has been a daily driver for the better part of 3 years and continues to be a joy to drive. keep up with the regular maintenance and this car will continue to impress

I purchased a 2002 with 130K miles and drove it as my daily driver until the timing chain guides gave out at around 240K. I liked it so much that I bought another one for a preposterously low price at the beginning of the pandemic, which I still own. BMW is primarily an engine builder. This engine just feels so good, especially from 3500 rpm up, and it is extremely comfortable on long trips (lack of rear leg room is a common complaint though). There is a reason why the E39 M5 was one of the preferred Cannonball Run cars! It is heavy at around 4,000 pounds, but the handling is predictable and responsive and it is fun to get this car sideways. The old navigation system is showing its age, but at least you can easily add aux cable support and the Sirius satellite radio module. Don't get me started on how awful the cup holders are - certainly the most common complaint about E39s in general. High mileage cars are always a risk - particularly BMWs with lots of options - and especially if the previous owner didn't keep up with everything. You don't want one of these if you can't afford to light $5K on fire to fix e.g. an engine problem when you least expect it. That said, this is one of the most reliable engines BMW ever made, especially if you have a code reader and keep up with pre-emptive maintenance (e.g. timing chain tensioners! Ask me how I know.) The ideal owner of this car is a weekend mechanic who can do most of the maintenance, especially the cooling system, control arms, and bushings. BMW designs their suspension components to be regular wear items, and the parts are surprisingly inexpensive except for the front shock absorbers. M5s are not great cars for showing off - most people have no idea what an M5 is. To the untrained eye it just looks like a boring family sedan that your accountant might drive. That said, you will regularly encounter people who give a thumbs up or want to do a quick drag race. This car was the BMW flagship model during their most dominant years. if you enjoy a manual transmission, rear wheel drive, 4 doors, and want to enjoy a piece of automotive history, you simply can't do better than this car.

Bought a Crimson Red, one owner 2013 BMW M5 with 56k miles. 10k miles later, it has proved to be one of the most fun cars I could have purchased. Was looking for a well maintained Porsche 911- a BMW M5 didn’t cross my mind. Came across one a family friend was selling that was her late husband’s daily driver. With special order interior and exterior colors from BMW and a Dinan tuner, I paid a quarter of the 128k price in 2013...only five years later. This car is a BEAST. Brakes and routine service so far this year. Not cheap but not insanely expensive. This car is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Turns heads and has been good to me so far. Fingers crossed for another fun year of ownership.
