Vehicle Overview

The five-seat Tiguan is Volkswagen’s answer to the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 compact SUVs. It’s powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and is available with front- or all-wheel drive. New for 2014
SE trim level adds heated seats, simulated leather upholstery and iPod connectivity while the new SE with Appearance version gets keyless access with push-button start and a backup camera. SEL models gain Fender premium audio system.

Volkswagen’s Car-Net communication system is also available for the Tiguan. It includes services like roadside assistance, crash notification and stolen vehicle location assistance as well as boundary and speed alerts, a vehicle health report and an enhanced point-of-interest service for vehicles with navigation. All Car-Net features can also be administered by a smartphone app.
