Based on the regular Prius, the Prius Plug-In provides a wider range of electric-only operation with the ability to travel up to an EPA-estimated 11 miles on electric power alone. When the lithium-ion battery pack is depleted and during certain driving conditions, the Prius Plug-In operates as a traditional hybrid car. Competitors include the Chevrolet Volt and Ford Fusion Energi.New for 2014
Toyota has dropped the base price of the Prius Plug-In by $2,010.

Fantastic car for short and long rides

This car has been fantastic at getting me around. Totally dependable, great handling and fantastic gas mileage (1 tank of gas costing roughly $30.00 gets me 420 miles down the road! Great car!!!

Test drove this car

I test drove the Plug in Prius and it rides the same as all the Prius's. But it has the Green Carpool Lane sticker that makes it even more desirable.

It is the perfect car for Uber. It's very comfortable and gets great mileage. It's super quiet and has excellent trunk space. We love our new little car.
