Most reliable car for the money

I’ve put 125k miles on it so far. Had 160k when I got it. Still has the original engine and runs great. Getting 34-39 MPG overall with the 5-speed and driving it nicely. Interior has held up exceptionally well, no cracking on any of the panels.

Good Looking and Reliable

I bought the Celica ST new in 1994, and I'm so happy l did. It has great styling, very comfortable front driver and passenger seats. The main reason I've kept it this long is that it's so reliable. Of course, with a car this age, l cross my fingers every time l start it, but it has never let me down. I plan to keep it until l can find an electric car with great styling for under 100K.

It’s awesome!!!

I’m restoring mine now but can’t find replacement parts?? I’ve looked everywhere including on line. Junkyards don’t have parts. But it’s a smooth ride and mine will be on point. Love my car!!

Best car I ever had.

Very dependable, low maintenance, great gas mileage and I would purchase another if it was in good shape. Very rare to find with low miles.

I loved this car

If your into cars I definitely recommend this car. Easy to work on, its fun to drive and it is very easy to figure out any problems and fix it. Fun if you like going fast. Handles well on the highway too.

Great older car!

This has been my primary vehicle for 5 years, and it hasn't had a single problem. I use it to drive everywhere. Underside is a little rusty, exhaust is noisy. It could use a replacement of tie rod ends and exhaust, which won't be much money.

Toyota, this car was absolutely the best car I own

we use to call this car the bumper car cause it took a licked and kept on thicken. best car by far on gas. I could fill it up for 9.00 dollars and drove for.2weeks on that 9.00. and believe me I drove a lot.

Most Reliable Car I've Owned. Sac to LA in 1 tank.

Drove from West Sacramento down to LA in 1 full tank of gas and only 1 rest stop. Best and most reliable car I've owned. Best gas saver in my opinion. Toyota's are never a let down.

The best so far

I got my 94 celica gt 5-speed for 2500$ with 179xxx miles, i had to change the clutch, timing belt and the water pump. I installed an aftermarket air intake, makes the car to sound awesome, i put some lowering sports springs in the front and nitto tires 450. after all this, i can say that i am really impressed with what this little car can do, i can go around the turns so quick that i have to push myself against the door to get back in the seat, great on gas, i drive pretty quick and if i combine city with highway i can get about 460 miles from a tank of gas, the car is reliable, during the snow storms, i was out for joyrides, the car is great in snow and has a great steering response, you can feel the car when you are driving, every time when i go for a ride, it puts a huge smile on my face, but there are couple of flaws with it, not a lot of choices when is about performance increase, aftermarket parts are hard to find and expensive, the oem parts are cheap,
