RAM
The Dodge Ram pickup truck got its own brand beginning with the 2012 model year; the Ram 1500 replaced the Dodge Ram 1500, the Ram 2500 replaced the Dodge Ram 2500, and so on. Ram has since grown into a successful stand-alone marque under the Stellantis family of brands.
Full-size pickup trucks for work and play remain Ram’s primary focus, though the division also offers a line of ProMaster commercial utility vans. Ram pickups are surprisingly refined for workhorse trucks; high-end trim levels like the Limited and Tungsten are regal enough inside to rival most luxury-brand cars. For the 2025 model year, Ram’s Hemi V-8 engine was retired in favor of a new twin-turbo six-cylinder, and the Ramcharger plug-in hybrid and REV all-electric Ram pickups debuted.
