Nissan is a full-line automaker that sells everything from the penny-pinching Versa subcompact sedan to the hulking Armada SUV. Headquartered in Yokohama, Japan, Nissan is allied with France's Renault and Japan’s Mitsubishi. Infiniti is Nissan's luxury brand.

Nissan's SUV lineup includes the Kicks subcompact, compact Rogue, mid-size Murano, three-row Pathfinder and Armada, a full-size truck-based SUV that can fit up to eight people.

Nissan's sedan lineup begins with the value-oriented Versa and includes the compact Sentra and mid-size Altima. Nissan also has two sports cars: the Z and GT-R. The full-size Titan and Titan XD pickup trucks were discontinued after the 2024 model year, but the mid-size Frontier continues.

Nissan was an electric vehicle pioneer with the Leaf hatchback that debuted for 2011. The Leaf will likely be phased out soon, but Nissan also offers the electric Ariya compact SUV (which debuted for 2023) and is reportedly working on more new EVs.
