The front-wheel-drive, five-seat Versa is Nissan’s entry-level subcompact sedan. It’s powered by a 122-horsepower, 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that works with a five-speed manual or a continuously variable automatic transmission. Three trim levels are available — S, SV and SR — and the Versa competes with the Hyundai Accent, Kia Rio and Chevrolet Spark.
