Zippy RWD electric city car, good value

A worthwhile electric city car (considering you can buy the 2012 version used for ~$5k) Zippy rear-wheel drive performance with incredible turning radius Great visibility Surprisingly large on the inside, especially for hauling stuff in the hatch with the rear seats down Don't expect good range on this car... it only has a 16kwhr battery pack. With the heat or defroster blasting in the winter, range can be as low as 35 miles per charge at freeway speeds. I highly recommend getting one that has a quick charge if there's a charger in your city (all 2014+ model years have quick "DC" charging standard called CHAdeMO). I fell in love with this car 3 years ago when I realized that I could tolerate its limitations and had grown to really appreciate its advantages (though the first two years I owned it I felt differently haha). You can occasionally find 2012 models with low miles for ~$5k
