2014 MINI Hardtop consumer reviews

Bought it new. Hard to tell that it's almost 8yrs old. Third Mini, first automatic. Very nimble and good acceleration. Love the heads up display and love love the power folding mirrors and side driver visor. Seats are very comfortable and have an extension for longer legs available. Haven't been able to figure out how to delete older phones from the bluetooth or unwanted addresses from the nav system tho. Biggest drawback for me is that the nearest dealer is 1.5 hrs away. But they do offer a valet service to pick up the car if scheduled in advance. It's not the most inexpensive to repair but what vehicle is nowadays.

So far so good. Only owned it a few weeks but it has exceeded our expectations. Can't beat the fuel mileage and the ease of driving.

The car is great. It has to be clear that this is not a multi-purpose vehicle. It is strictly a car for driving fun. It drives like a go-kart. It is fast, it breaks well and it handles better. However, it is compact, the trunk is extremely small and it is best for 1-2 people. If you are looking to have fun driving without buying a Porsche, this is it.

This car is a little car that feels like a big car. Plenty of room in side, with lots of power under the hood. The 2014 design is really a great look. It holds more than you would think. I make a trip to Costco once a month and fill it with no problem. As we all know, going to Costco results in many items no planned on purchasing. The Cooper S is sporty and drives like a sports car. VERY VERY sensitive steering. I was constantly over steering in the beginning but now I love the response. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the car to anyone that wants a fun sports car.

Just bought two weeks ago. Really love it. Feel solid and nimble when I make sharp turn. It is a good above average commuter car, not sport car. From size, it is bigger than previous generation, lost a little cute, but still Mini, no doubt. A lot of new techs inside. I am a little annoyed by the engine shut down function at signals, although save gas a bit. Overall, this is my dreamed car.
