Awful

While I was dropping off a rental car, my friend waited for me in my Mini Cooper. As I was getting into my Mini a passerby joked, "Is that Mini the reason you had a rental? I have one too!" She hit the nail on the head because she knew from experience. The old joke about Saabs (you need two: one for while the other is in the garage) stands true for Minis, at least this year and model. Other than the $10,000 I hemmorraged to keep this car on the road for 4 years, I have no complaints about the Mini Cooper. I actually love this car which is why I fought so long to keep her running when she clearly just wanted to die. Honestly, everything broke on this car: the water pump and O2 sensors went before 50k, the clutch pedal actually broke, suspension problems, brake problems, engine problems because of carbon build up, it burned oil like crazy, and ultimately a blown head gasket sent her to the Mini Graveyard. That being said, if money were not a problem, I would stick with Minis but I would buy new and trade it in every two years or lease. It was fun in the city and fun in the country. Parking and u-turns are never an issue. It was surprisingly nimble in the snow without snow tires.

Most reliable car I’ve owned

Drove this for 9 years until someone hit my car and totaled it. :( it was 11 years old. Sad day. Barely did any repairs and it averages between 34-43mpg when I was driving it. Stick shift. Loved driving it every day!

Worst car I have ever owned!

Always wanted one of these cars so took a chance and bought a used one from a dealer. Should have realized that maybe wasn't such a smart choice after paying for the car and waiting a month to get it from the dealer as they could not get the sun roof to open (still doesn't work properly). Didn't get the extended warranty as have a mechanic for a father in-law. Clutch went 3 months after finally getting the car. Replaced that without much issue (tight engine compartment to work on). 5 months after the clutch went , the brake booster vacuum pump seized and blew the timing chain and bent 8 out of the 12 valves. Has been a COMPLETE nightmare sourcing the very expensive parts to get this piece of crap back on the road. Once it is running again a for sale sign goes on it and will happily watch someone else drive it away. Owned the car for 3 years and have towed it further than driven it. Buy a reliable Honda/Toyota...avoid these at all costs.

The Mini Cooper IS a fun car to drive. Who knew??

It has more room than it looks! Well equipment with many of the features that you need and the price was Great. The handling is very tight and in control. My wife loves the Cooper and the 134hp is more than enough to get the job done. I made sure of that....lol. Very pleasant surprise.

The mini copper 2007

It's comfortable sit in it. But I feel the space is too narrow for me. If there are more than two people, especially for some men, it's a little too small. But totally I like it. The drive feeling is nice. And till now it's safety.

Most fun car I've ever driven!

I absolutely love the 2007 Mini Cooper S. It is an absolute blast to drive! I test drove one and went from 0-50 in 5 seconds. It was such a change from driving my Jeep Compass!
