from the Cars.com expert editorial team
What Is the 2021 Mini Cooper?
The front-wheel-drive Mini Hardtop and Convertible are fun-to-drive small cars with a reputation for agility and parkability. The hatchback seats up to five, and the convertible has room for four.

A six-speed manual transmission is standard, and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic or an eight-speed automatic are optional. Competitors include the Volkswagen Golf GTI and Hyundai Veloster.
What’s New on the 2021 Mini Cooper?
A six-speed manual transmission is once again available for both the hatchback and convertible. A new digital instrument cluster is available, and a Sidewalk Edition convertible features unique colors, wheels, trim and badges.
