Mazda has a well-earned reputation for cars that are fun to drive, with precise and sporty handling, while still comfortable for daily driving. Mazdas also tend to be on the smaller side relative to their class competitors. More recently, as it aspires to be a premium brand, Mazda has become known for high-quality interiors in certain trim levels that seem a cut above mainstream rivals.

While Mazda's signature car is the two-seat MX-5 Miata convertible, a capable and affordable sports car, the automaker has grown its SUV lineup with the subcompact CX-30, the compact CX-5 and CX-50, and the three-row CX-9 and CX-90. The CX-90 offers an available plug-in hybrid powertrain, and the brand’s only fully electric model, the MX-30 small SUV, is sold exclusively in California. Mazda also offers the compact Mazda3, available as a sedan or hatchback.

Mazda is based in Hiroshima, Japan.
