MKZ Reserve 3.0l TT AWD

I bought the Reserve trim with the Tech package, Climate Package, 3.0l Twin Turbo V6, and AWD. Overall - This is a take on the modern American midsize luxury sedan that accidentally became the fastest vehicle Lincoln has ever made. Comfort - The seats in the MKZ feel more akin to a neatly fitted recliner with its many leavers to get the perfect position. It might take a few moments to get everything just right, but when you do, it's like sitting on a fluffy golden retriever. Its warm, comfortable, and always happy to see you. Drivability - This is an easy vehicle to drive. The AWD is great for putting the power down and not getting stuck on ice or mud. The handling is soft enough to put the family to sleep at the end of the day. Great visibility, easy to drive at night even in the rain. Interior - The inside looks, feels, and fits the price of this car and not the typical cheap American sedan. Touch points are nice. The inputs work how you would expect them to work. The return of physical buttons and knobs are welcome one, I much rather have the controls of a 4th generation fighter jet over a smart phone. Tech - The tech is fine. Blindspot is fine. Radar cruise control is fine. The auto high beams is fine. The touch screen OS is hopeless. The backup camera is fine. The stereo is fine. Performance - This is my favorite part of the car. Keep it in the low RPMs and you are just driving around any plain whatever V6 sedan. Nothing unusual here. Start rolling into the power and at 2750 you will hit max torque of 400 lbft. Planted your foot firmly to the floor and you will get all 400 HP at 5500 RPMs. With some grippy tires, the tested 0-60 is 4.8s. This makes this sedan a bit of a sleeper. Like I said, this version of the MKZ accidently became Lincoln's fastest car. Exterior - The MKZ has been accused of being a "tart" up ford fusion, but this revision is actually different. The MKZ is physically taller, wider, longer, and its own styling. Lincoln's design language is to be subtle and not draw attention. Paint in black with its shiny grill, it looks more like a 2000s jag than a 2010's ford. Reliability - 59000 miles and had to replace a sparkplug cable for an intermit issue. No other issues to report. Value - Used market is where a car like this has a ton of value. 400 hp, fit and finish, comfort you'd expect, and at a price that most could afford. Look at any of its competitors and they will have less features, less power, or cost way more for similar. If you dont want the power, you can find better options, but for the entire package this is difficult to beat.

Could have been an Edsel

With great power goes terrible gas mileage. 18 mpg was the best I could get. No fog lights, splotchy head lights. So low to the ground that the front end snow plows the snow into a pretty solid mass and you get stuck. After two years I traded it even up for a 2018 Rav4 hybrid.

Very nice luxury car

Only had this a week and love all of the bells and whistles it has. Burgundy Velvet is a show stopper color. So many features that are very impressive. To mention a few are the key fobs abilities to not only start the car, but open and close windows including the moonroof. Very comfortable interior with everything you can possibly think of and a really smooth ride. The app that you can use from cell phone to do many things like start the car, lock & unlock, and check mechanical health status. Ford really setup the maximum on this 2018 Lincoln MKZ.

I'm doing the Toyota kick about my New Lincoln MKZ

My first CAR in 26 years. I love it...so far. I live in Michigan so I'm nervous about the handling in big snow but I'm confident.

My first Lincoln!

It’s a beautiful car, stilll have so much to learn about it. Lots of bells and whistles, I’ll figure it out. Thé console is a little wide for me, and the safety belt is hard to put in, but I’ll work on it.

Most impressive vehicle I have ever owned.

First true luxury car owned. I may never buy another type again! Generally I buy a new/used vehicle every 2 to 3 years and am not brand specific but after this purchase of he MKZ I may be a repeat Lincoln buyer. The MKZ is a great value for the price and the vehicle is elegant.
