Best car on the market
This is a beautiful car. Drives like a BMW, luxury of a Mercedes benz and fuel economy of a car. Just an overal great performing car and won't buy anything else. The AWD does great in snow and LOVE the heated and cooled seats plus a heated steering wheel.

Very luxiourious even when compared to same year g
This is a good vehicle. Although the technolgy is great yet finishes are sub par. I prefer the finishes of a foreign luxury vehicle. I was eyeing this vehicle for a while. Good purchase I would just prefer things like real wood and soft leather.

Best car ever!
Love this vehicle. The ride is smooth, roomy inside with comfortable seats. Many luxuries to enjoy with this vehicle, love the heated and cooled seat, and the reclining back seats are perfect for long trip with family and friends. Everything is at my fingertips,l my phone the entertainment system (am, fm, CD and Sirus radio etc..), navigation, and climate (air, heat). Just an all around luxury vehicle.

Great car and very reliable
People having sync and sound system problems you have to go into your menu and lower volume as the car automatically turns your system up when in noisy areas and if you already have it up to max it will start to crackle it took Ford/Lincoln 3 years to figure this out but I'd never own another vehicle only a Lincoln SUV

First disappointing Lincoln
I bought my 2011 MKX new after my Navigator was hit by an 18 wheeler. The Navigator was a great vehicle, except that it was a pig on fuel. I bought this thinking it would be as good a car as my Navigator, Town Car, and Mark VIIIs were. It's not. First couple of years were fine with just normal maintenance items. No big problems. Then, after hitting 100,000 miles things went downhill very quickly. The brake booster failed, which I noted was covered by a TSB. So that repair was covered by Ford. Unfortunately, the dealer found another $3,600 of work that needs to be done including replacing the PTU, which costs over $2,000 to replace. The PTU is the part that sends power to the rear wheels on AWD vehicles. If you perform a Google search, you'll find many have problems with the PTU. New problem today. I have a low oil pressure reading on the message center. I checked the oil level on the dipstick; it's full. I can see oil flowing from one of the squirters by the camshafts by removing the oil fill cap. So there's some oil being pumped around the engine but not enough pressure. At a minimum, this will be a few thousand dollars to fix. At the worst, a new engine. I have not even mentioned the problems with the Sync system, the navigation system, the sunroof that won't close unless I push it by hand while holding the switch.. The list goes on and on. This car is much less reliable than my Town Car, my Navigator, and my Mark VIII. I still own the 1998 Mark VIII and it's a good thing because I can depend on the 18 year old Mark VIII. I can't depend on the 5 year old MKX. My wife's Jaguar XJL is MUCH more reliable than the MKX. I should have bought another Jag. The TCO is actually lower. Don't buy an MKX!

Pros and Cons
This is our first SUV. Over the years we have put over a million miles on 4 Lincoln Town Cars. Repairs were minimal on all of them, so thought this would be a good buy. My wife is handicapped, but this MKX serves her well by being so easy to get in and out of with its power seats. And for us, the ride is excellent as well as the handling. We do like a number of the "gadgets," but some of them are a disappointment. The GPS system sometimes borderlines on being a joke. A Garmin GPS is a much better product. Also there are times when the system has a mind of its own. What it did yesterday, it will not do today. Frequently all the settings return to default for no reason at all. We just processed our first problem, a check engine light. It was also time for the 90,000 mile service I am still in shock. The engine light revealed a problem that "Lincoln is aware of." (quote from the service manager). Bottom line, to do the 90K service and do the repair that will take care of the check engine light will cost us almost $900! That is with our "full coverage" warranty still in effect. Very disheartening to say the least.

BEST CAR IVE EVER OWNED! ONLY LINCOLN FROM NOW ON!
I love this car!!! I bought it pre-owned in November 2014 with only 15k on the clock. Let me say that this is the most stunning, elegant vehicle I will ever own. It corners like a racecar-I never expected that!! Best bang for the buck with interior features (ambient lighting, heated steering wheel, air cond' seats, incredible premium sound, plus really advanced MyTouch system wiht gas prices, weather, sports scores, etc) are all extremely useful. I have the 20" chrome wheels and LOVE them. Real wood (not that stuff used by other companies.) Power fold seats. PANORAMIC=LOVE!!!! Nice v6. No wind noise. Very safe and reliable!! STUNNING, beautiful car. Lots of safety+ power, very refined! Power fold 3rd row. Sure as heck beats that ugly triangular suv thing called the srx.. Will only buy Lincns from now on. Best car out there!
