Kia is owned by Hyundai and is based in Seoul, South Korea. Kia vehicles share Hyundai platforms and technology, and they follow the same value-oriented philosophy: quality vehicles with lots of standard features for the money.

Though many Kia products are similar to Hyundais, some, such as the Soul hatchback, are unique to the brand. Kia SUV highlights are the three-row Telluride and subcompact Seltos, but the brand also offers the compact Sportage and mid-size Sorento. Kia’s broad lineup also includes a full slate of cars such as the compact Forte, mid-size K5 and performance-oriented Stinger. Electrified vehicles include hybrid, plug-in hybrid and all-electric versions of the Niro hatchback.
