Kia
Kia is owned by Hyundai and is based in Seoul, South Korea. Kia vehicles share Hyundai platforms and technology, and they follow the same value-oriented philosophy: quality vehicles with lots of standard features for the money.
Though many Kia products are similar to Hyundais, some, such as the Soul hatchback, are unique to the brand. Kia SUV highlights are the three-row Telluride and subcompact Seltos, but it also offers the compact Sportage and mid-size Sorento. Traditional passenger cars include the compact Forte and mid-size K5 sedans, and the company also offers the Carnival minivan. Hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions of the Sportage and Sorento are available, and the Niro compact hatchback is offered as a hybrid, PHEV or all-electric vehicle. Kia’s expanding lineup of pure-electric vehicles includes the EV6 SUV (which shares its basic architecture with the Hyundai Ioniq 5) and EV9 three-row mid-size SUV.
