What’s New on the 2019 Kia Sportage?
The LX Popular Package gets a 7-inch touchscreen multimedia system, automatic air conditioning, an automatic defogger and an air ionizer. New features for the mid-level EX trim include blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert and heated, power-folding side mirrors with integrated turn signals. The top-of-the-line SX Turbo gains an electronic parking brake with auto-hold capability.

The top-end SX Turbo is fun to drive but is one of the pricier entrants in the class. The base LX is a good value, but the EX is more of a sweet spot and can be equipped with available active safety features. An updated Sportage arrives as a 2020 model.
