2023 Jaguar F-TYPE review: Our expert's take

What Is the 2023 Jaguar F-Type?

The Jaguar F-Type is offered in two-seat coupe or convertible form. With sleek lines and compact dimensions, the F-Type remains a head-turning sports car everywhere it goes. It also has the horsepower to back up those good looks thanks to a supercharged V-8 that delivers 444 or 575 horsepower; the latter figure is reserved for the top-of-the-line R coupe and R convertible, both of which have all-wheel drive.

Should I Buy the 2023 Jaguar F-Type?

Based on its looks and performance, the Jaguar F-Type is certainly worth consideration alongside potent rivals like Porsche’s 718 Cayman and 718 Boxster, as well as the Chevrolet Corvette and BMW Z4. It’s delightful to drive and boasts a lusty exhaust note, but the F-Type also features a dated basic design, snug cabin and limited cargo space.

So far, so good.

I've only had it a few weeks. So, can't speak to reliability. But design, inside a d out, is fabulous. Engine performance (and sound) is great. Ride is a bit more calm than I expected, which is nice since this is mostly a GT for me. But, even with that forgiveness, it is planted in corners. Great blend. I won't be doing track days, so the 450 is all I need. Value is debatable for a car/toy like this. But, I have no buyer remorse, so that says something!
