Where it once sold on low price, lots of standard features and a generous warranty, Hyundai has added stylish design, interior quality and refinement for a quality lineup of cars and crossovers.

SUVs include the “large mid-size” Palisade and mid-size Santa Fe. On the other end of the spectrum are the compact Tucson, subcompact Kona and even smaller Venue. The Santa Cruz is an SUV-like four-door compact pickup truck that’s a variant of the Tucson. Though Hyundai has pared down its traditional car lineup like most other automakers, it still offers the compact Elantra and mid-size Sonata sedans.

The Ioniq nameplate, which previously adorned an eco-focused compact car, now denotes the company’s expanding all-electric vehicle lineup, which includes the Ioniq 5 compact SUV and Ioniq 6 mid-size sedan. Hyundai also offers hybrid and plug-in-hybrid versions of select vehicles, an all-electric version of the Kona and even a few racetrack-ready high-performance models under the N sub-brand.
