The car is overall a good car except having to replace

The car is overall a good car except having to replace the sensors in the tires and also my check oil light has come on and my oil is good now I have to pay more money to see why my check oil light will not go out! I’m tired of paying money almost every other month for different lights that come on. I researched that a lot of Hyundai owners is having the same issues especially with the oil light coming on and not going off when there’s nothing wrong the the oil level is fine.

Best and safest car you could buy!!!

It saved my life I was in a bad car wreck a couple weeks ago in this car I hit a deer and drifted into a tree and flipped 5 times and the inside lit up to help me find my phone to call the police and my radio and steering wheel still worked to help call the police the inside was sturdy not one thing was crushed into the car definitely would recommend

Pain peeled and keeps going into limp mode

Paint peeled on the roof just under three years, but the mileage exceeded warranty. Within 2 months of repainting the roof, the hood started peeling. Repainted that and two weeks before making the final payment, the car started going into limp mode. The dealership said I needed to have a GDI cleanse done every other oil change at a cost of $180. It has been three months since having that done and now is back in limp mode. It is also using oil. I'm having to add a quart each week.

Fantastic value!

This 2018 is my second Sonata. Hyundai addressed all the issues I had with the 2012 I owned. All I've done is oil changes, brake pads, tires. The car has been flawless, the transmission is very smooth, though I liked the 2012 transmission slightly better for the shift strategy. Technology package is fantastic. Dynamic cruise, lane keep assist, auto emergency braking... Almost drives itself. The car is still humming along like a sewing machine today.

Major oil issues

There should be a recall on this car. It uses pil like crazy. Every other week I have to add 1 to 2 quarts of oil. No leaks it is going somewhere it doesn't belong. This is the 2nd sonata that I've had to do this. Buyer beware. 1017 and 2018 models are terrible for this problem.

Excessive use of oil.

Excessive use of oil. Up to one quart of oil every 1000 miles. Hyundai knows they have a problem but will not address and make corrections.
