Also known for its motorcycles and other products, Honda Motor Co. is an import success story — a small company headquartered in Tokyo that has had bestselling models in many U.S. vehicle classes. Honda's well-earned reputation still shows in popular, well-rounded models like the HR-V subcompact SUV, CR-V compact SUV, Civic compact car and Accord mid-size sedan.
The automaker's larger vehicles include two related mid-size SUVs: the two-row Passport and three-row Pilot. The Odyssey minivan remains a strong competitor, and the innovative Ridgeline pickup truck competes in the mid-size field. Honda is also entering the electric-vehicle market with the Prologue, an all-electric mid-size SUV that’s the product of a joint venture between Honda and GM.
