I have a 2023 Ridgeline.

I have a 2023 Ridgeline. The windshield blacks out at night time. Google black out windshield. I'm not the only one complaining if this unsafe windshield living north on dark bush roads. My Honda dealership said bearable. I want safe bot bearable. The light distance sucks compared to my 2013 Ridgeline sering 4 times further with headlights. 400.000 on my 2013. Never once a problem. Had this truck or excuse me not truck a unibody. I tried to trade I'm after 2 weeks. Worst 75000 if ever wasted my money on. Took back for new tonneau cover and still leaks. Big disappointment.

The 2023 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E has performed up to my expectations! The ride is smooth, the engine performance is everything that I expected, the transmission shifts without notice, the interior is extremely nice and the truck bed is great!

2023 Honda Ridgeline review: Our expert's take

What Is the 2023 Honda Ridgeline?

The Honda Ridgeline is a mid-size crew-cab pickup truck with generous room for up to five adults. A 280-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 coupled to a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive is standard on every trim. What sets the Ridgeline apart is its car-like ride and handling, which makes it ideal for truck shoppers who don’t want to feel like they’re piloting a truck. In the debit column, however, is the fact that the Ridgeline is much less customizable and not as capable off-road as rivals like the Chevrolet Colorado, Toyota Tacoma, Ford Ranger and Nissan Frontier.

What’s New on the 2023 Honda Ridgeline?

The Honda Ridgeline rolls into the 2023 model year with no notable updates or changes.

What Features in the 2023 Honda Ridgeline Are Most Important?

Standard features include:

  • 8-inch touchscreen
  • Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity
  • Tri-zone climate control
  • Remote start
  • Honda Sensing suite of active safety features
  • Remote start
  • Dual-opening tailgate
  • Hidden trunk in cargo bed
  • Two USB ports
  • LED headlights

Available features include:

  • Wireless device charging
  • Power-sliding rear window
  • Power moonroof
  • Heated steering wheel
  • Truck-bed audio system
  • Cargo box power outlet
  • Navigation
  • Power moonroof
  • Rear cross-traffic alert
  • Blind spot warning

Should I Buy the 2023 Honda Ridgeline?

The Honda Ridgeline is a compelling pick for car shoppers who want pickup-truck utility but don’t want to give up car-like handling and comfort in the process. Its agility makes it ideal for zipping through city traffic, and the 280-hp V-6 is refined. Yet there’s no getting around the fact that the Ridgeline’s rivals offer far more choices when it comes to powertrain options, not to mention higher towing and hauling capacities, too.
