What Is the 2019 Ford Mustang?

The Ford Mustang is a four-seat sports car that competes with the Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger. It’s available in coupe and convertible body styles and five trim levels: EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, GT, GT Premium and the revived-for-2019 Bullitt. High-performance Shelby GT350 and GT350R versions are also available.

What’s New on the 2019 Ford Mustang?

The big news for Mustang fans looking for an extra helping of retro style is the return of the Bullitt, which now has a 480-horsepower version of the car’s 5.0-liter V-8 engine, exclusive Dark Highland Green paint and unique trim and badging.

Another revived throwback model is the California Special with Shelby-inspired bits like their forebears from the 1960s. GT models with the 5.0-liter V-8 and six-speed manual transmission now have a rev-matching feature, while the base turbocharged four-cylinder EcoBoost model can have an optional quad-tipped Active Valve Performance Exhaust. A new B&O premium stereo is also available.

What Features in the 2019 Ford Mustang Are Most Important?

Base EcoBoost models come with a 310-hp, turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine, and the GT gets a 460-hp, 5.0-liter V-8. Transmission choices include a six-speed manual or 10-speed automatic. Standard equipment includes a backup camera, remote keyless entry, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, cruise control and manual air conditioning. Optional features include Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone connectivity.

Should I Buy the 2019 Ford Mustang?

The Mustang offers distinctive style and powerful acceleration from its available V-8 engine. However, the ride can be rough in the GT, and the tight backseat does nothing to improve passenger comfort.

I absolutely adore my Mustang. It does require performance mode to be as fast as I would prefer. It is reliable as all h e double l, the 10 speed is fast and sounds great. 10/10 I would purchase again.

Love my BULLITT

I bought one new during the pandemic & got a great price, since dealers were starving for sales. Love the car, color, performance and comfort are #1. The Magnaride suspension is phenomenal. My one & only complaint was initially the car had a few electrical issues. But a new software download, while still under warranty has fixed those. Hopefully they'll never return.

2019 Mustang Bullitt

After a lot of research I decided to go with the 2019 Mustang Bullitt. After owning it for a month I have no regrets. The only complaint I have is with Fords MyMode. It’s set up is not covered in the manual. Other than that it’s an absolutely a joy to drive.
