Love this little car
I absolutely love my little Fiat. I can zip around in traffic and parking is a breeze. I live in LA where parking is a challenge on a good day and having this little car you can park pretty much anywhere. It’s tiny, but you can fit a lot of stuff in it, once you put the back seats down. The back seat is really small, but for someone like me that has backseat passengers maybe 2-3 times a year, it’s not big deal, just don’t put the tall people in the back. It doesn’t have that much power when you floor it and it takes a while to get the speed, but once you get going, it’s great. You also save a lot on gas. I would say the average tank costs between $30-$40 (CA 2021 prices). I really love it and no two Fiats are alike.
Shouldn't fall in love with a car for cuteness
I loved the color and looks of the car. The salesman had a preplanned demo route that didn't expose the realities of the car. i I hated it about an hour after buying it. Noisy inside, rough riding on anything but the smoothest roads, and it felt like I was getting jerked back when it went into overdrive on a hill. Got rid of it after a year...about 364 days later than I should have and got a car I love.
We won't ever buy another one without lots of chec
I bought this 2014 used with a out 22k miles on it. At about 33k it started to shake when accelerating. This is a KNOWN issue that Fiat has chose to completeky ignore, which I think is exceedingly irresponsible. The range for gas RISES as you drive more miles sometimes. At 1/4 tank, it stops giving mileage range (my 2005 ford does this down to 1 mile). GREAT legroom, great layout, good button placement on front and rear of steering wheel. Back seat only for the tiny or legless. Good trunk space.
