sexy, fun, sports car that I love

Very fun car. I owned a Toyota MR2 for 29 years. I needed a sporty, gutsy car to give me another 30'years of fun. I have only had for less than a week, but I did a lot of homework on this car. Not a fiata.

Seat Of The Pants Thrill

Having had the choice of purchasing a variety of convertible vehicles, I chose the 124 Spider Abarth. The car is Pearl White and fully loaded with all options except for the Ricaro seats. As a design professional, I truly appreciate how this car looks. The proportions, styling and design are well done. The overall fit and finish is superb, as every detail has been well thought out. The performance is great. The feel of the road in a true sports car is essential, and the 124 Spider delivers that In true Italian style. I was impressed from the very moment my foot hit the accelerator. It handles amazingly well, and winding roads are a welcome anticipation every time I choose to take it for a drive. The only reason I didn't give this review a perfect score is because I feel that the seats could have had more comfort built into them. Yes, more cush for the tush. The only other item is that at almost 6', I find it not so easy to enter and exit. Despite that, this is a great sports car for the money and if you're looking for a car to just enjoy and have fun in, this is a car worth looking into. WELL DONE FIAT!

Fun, Exciting car to Drive!

The Fiat Spider Abarth is an awesome car. I have owned performance cars my whole life and I have to say that this car is a lot of fun to drive. The exterior and interior are beautiful and wherever I go people comment. It looks like a 150,000 dollar car for 30,000.

Don't go for a 124 abarth , so many issues ,ecu

I have owned mine for three months, And 650 out of1000 miles have been back with management lights ,witch cane on after ten days of collecting new sensors , reprogrammed ecu and then after all that the cat replaced witch I asked to be done first !, Abarth customer care is a wasted phone call, they have other customers to help.so they say The boot badge works well ,As a plug hole

Love love love my Spider Abarth!

Three weeks ago I bought a new 2017 FIAT 124 Spider Abarth 6 Speed manual and am absolutely in love with it. The 124 Abarth is a modern take on classic 1960s roadsters, except that it flies like a crotch-rocket with its Italian 1.6 liter turbo engine. I've read nearly every Miata vs FIAT 124 review, so am well aware of both sides nits against the other, but I have to see the 124 is just stunning to look at (whereas the Miata is sleek but too modernist). The long front, with the engine positioned behind the front axle, just feels and looks right. The Abarth 6-speed is G-Force quick, especially through the turbo?s sweet spot of 3500-4500 RPMs. For the record, before buying the Abarth, I test drove the Lusso automatic, which usually felt two gears behind at any moment. But IMHO, getting an automatic roadster is like ordering a non-alcoholic beer at a bar. You?re missing the point entirely. The soft-top is manual but can put down with one hand whilst driving. The short-thrust six speed is perfect, and the steering ? while prone a bit too oversteer ? is tight and responsive. The cabin is extremely comfortable but I am neither tall nor overweight. A 6?4?, 250 lbs. friend mine had to wedge in the passenger seat with his knees pressed against the console, so avoid buying if you plan on much carting of XXL types around in it. No, your kids won?t fit in the back (no rear seat) and your golf clubs won?t fit in the boot. But if you want a classically-styled roadster as your daily driver, consider it. I literally think about my Abarth when I?m not in it, and haven?t been in love with a car like that since the 1967 (barn-find) Austin Healy Sprite I drove in high school. My only advice is to go with the Abarth (more HP and better suspension) and manual transmission, otherwise you are buying a near-beer.
