Camaro Convertible: 💰Money can buy Happiness

2023 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible It doesn't get any better than this in a Camaro. Absolute cream of the crop car. ZL1 comes with évery creature comfort you'll ever desire other then it driving itself & that would take all the fun away. Complete comfort, endless source of power & everything that brings happiness to your eyes 👀. I paid $80000.⁰⁰ & have zero regrets, best & happiest investment I made, cause I'll have this for the next twenty plus years.

Loving my new LT1

I originally was looking at Corvette’s but couldn’t find one in stock at a reasonable price and wanted a convertible now. I found my NEW LT1 in Hot Red and I love it. At this point I’m glad I saved my money on the Vette and bought the Camaro. Just reached the 1,500 mile break in point so and I’m ready to find out what this car can do. I’m 71 years old and have had lots of cars including Corvettes’ but this is probably the most fun car I have ever owner.

2023 Chevrolet Camaro review: Our expert's take

By Carl Malek

Chevrolet isn’t throwing in the towel yet for its iconic Camaro sports car. The Camaro continues into the 2023 model year with new paint colors, wheel designs and a new starting price of $27,495 (all pricing includes a $1,395 destination fee).

New Colors, Wheel Designs

The 2023 Camaro is largely unchanged from the 2022 model. However, Chevrolet has added two new exterior paint color options: Radiant Red Metallic ($495) and Sharkskin Metallic (no extra cost).

Chevrolet is also debuting black 20-inch split five-spoke aluminum wheels for available Design Packages and LT models equipped with the available RS Package.

Continuing to Set Pace for Performance

Performance hardware carries over from the 2022 model year. The base 1LS trim is powered by a turbocharged, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 275 horsepower. The 1LT, 2LT and 3LT models have an optional 3.6-liter V-6 good for 335 hp. Meanwhile, LT1 and SS models get a 455-hp, naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V-8, and the ZL1 gets a 650-hp, supercharged 6.2-liter V-8.

All variants come standard with a six-speed manual transmission. An optional eight-speed automatic can be had for $1,495 for Camaros equipped with the four-cylinder engine, $1,595 for V-6 and naturally aspirated V-8 models, and $2,395 for the ZL1.

Pricing and Release Date

The 2023 Camaro is available now. Convertible models cost an extra $6,000, though the option is not available with the 1LS trim. ZL1 pricing includes a $1,300-$2,100 gas-guzzler tax, depending on the transmission. Starting prices for the lineup are below:

  • 1LS: $27,495
  • 1LT 2.0: $27,995
  • 1LT 3.6: $29,590
  • 2LT 2.0: $29,995
  • 2LT 3.6: $31,590
  • 3LT 2.0: $33,995
  • 3LT 3.6: $35,590
  • LT1: $37,495
  • 1SS: $40,995
  • 2SS: $45,995
  • ZL1: $69,695
