One of GM’s four remaining U.S. brands, Cadillac competes with European and Asian luxury brands as well as Ford's luxury brand Lincoln. It has a reputation for advanced technology and driving performance, though some of its models have fallen short of true luxury pampering. As the market shifts to SUVs, so has Cadillac's lineup; it now includes the entry-level XT4, compact XT5 and three-row XT6. The brand's flagship SUV is the full-size, truck-based Escalade, a relative of the Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban and GMC Yukon and Yukon XL. It comes in regular and extended ESV versions. Cadillac's car lineup has been transformed, too: Familiar models like the CTS have been discontinued, and the brand's sedan lineup now includes the CT4, CT5 and CT6.
