BEST Car I've EVER OWNED.

I purchased my BMW Z-3 (6-liter engine) when it was brand new, 1998. It is the BEST car I have ever owned. (I've had Mercedes Benz, Thunderbirds, Corvettes in the past.) This baby is now 25 years old, and has 71,000 miles on it. I bought the hardtop for it, and keep it on the car all the time now. (Too much trouble to take off and put it on the rack in the garage.) Very few repairs were needed in the past, and I've had the oil changed, etc. every year, purchased new tires like the original Michelins, and kept this car garaged. I also purchased a BMW luggage rack, and a BMW hard suitcase that snaps onto the rack, because the trunk is small. I am a small woman ("ole lady now") and this car has been perfect for everything from long road trips, to maneuvering around town into tight parking spaces. It is classic black, and I STILL get compliments on it every single day!!! No, it is not for sale.

Untouchable

This is my second Z3. I love the 97-1.9 for its economy and the 98-2.8 for its get-up and go. You become one with the car and the road feeling every turn & straight away in harmony. Just relax and go... I wish I would have kept both but you can really only drive one at a time!

Great Service

This has been a "dream" car for me for nearly 21 years. I had bought a small die cast model of the car back in 1998 because as much as I liked it, I could not afford it. This many years later I found the exact car I wanted back then at Wilson Motorcar Company in Massillon OH, in fantastic shape! Keith Wilson was awesome to work with, I'd highly recommend him.

Fun, cool looking and powerful...

Very cool looking car. Super dependable... All engine with two very comfortable bucket seats to strap into. The console is what you would expect from 1998 BMW. Straight forward and very little computer. Awesome convertible for the warm weather.

Fun car to drive!

I've owned sports cars for a while and this one was definitely the most fun to drive. Comfortable and great handling with good gas mileage too! A real bargain for the money!

Loved this car!

I have owned many cars in my lifetime. Up until 1998 I would trade my car in every 2-3 yrs. I bought my Z3 off of showroom floor....while all of my cars were new when I purchased them, this is the only one I drove off of the showroom floor. It had 5 miles on the odometer. When I traded it in six years later, it had around 130,000 miles on it. And I absolutely LOVED every single moment and mile I drove of that car! The only thing I would have changed about the interior ( which since has been changed) was the placement of the cupholders. I was forever knocking into my drinks. I rated this car a 4 on reliability. While I had the car I had two "major" things happen....a radiator that exploded and a catalytic converter that went bad. Fortunately for me, both parts were under warranty, so I didn't have to pay anything out of pocket to have them repaired/replaced. It has been 14 years since I've had that vehicle, but every time I've gotten into a vehicle of mine since, hardly a day goes by that I don't think about it or miss it. BMW stopped making the Z models a couple of years ago. Currently I am in the market for a vehicle, because I need one, not because I want one. While I have the opportunity, I have every intention of purchasing my first, used, but also loved, Z4. And I can't wait! I can't wait to have that feeling of the handling of the vehicle in my hands again. I can't wait to have the reliability and drivability of that vehicle again. But, most of all, I cannot wait to have the feeling of driving down the road, my top down, with not a care (or at least not many) in the world feeling this BMW style left me with since I last drove it. You can't go wrong!
