Not reliable.

great car to drive, BUT replacement of engine mounts at 58k and a total 10k service bill plus every 15k brakes of $1900 just for the front means your stuck with something that can bite your wallet at every turn.

A real lemon, buy an extended warranty!

Had this car for 4 years and 4 months enjoyed it for the first 4 years. Meticulously maintained, every service, oil change and air filter changed as required at the dealer. Only used the highest octane gas available, as recommended. Around 4 years The info system started randomly shutting down. I took it in twice and was told they couldn’t find anything wrong. Then the engine died while drying on the interstate. Audi wanted $35,000 to replace the engine, more than the current value of the car. Audi offered us $3,500 for the car as is (this is not a typo). A HUGE disappointment all the way around. No more Audi for us. Purchased a Lexus hybrid and love it!

A total beast

I can tow 7700 pounds and haul 7 passengers. Sure the 3rd row seat is small, but so are kids, who would be riding back there anyway. Way better value than a Suburban- and does almost all the same things only better- if you need to tow something large, you have to consider this option. The interior finishings are truly German Luxury.
