2020 Audi A7 review: Our expert's take

What Is the 2020 Audi A7?

The Audi A7 is a five-seat mid-size luxury car that blends coupelike design and hatchback versatility. It’s powered by a 335-horsepower, turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine that works with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive is standard. Competitors include the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class and BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe.

What’s New on the 2020 Audi A7?

The A7 was redesigned last year. New standard features for 2020 include lane departure warning, automatic high-beam headlights and auto-dimming and power-folding side mirrors.

What Features in the 2020 Audi A7 Are Most Important?

Standard features include navigation, a dual-touchscreen interface, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, four USB ports, a power liftgate, three-zone automatic air conditioning, a panoramic moonroof, leather upholstery, heated front seats and a 40/20/40-split rear seat. Options include a heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, four-zone air conditioning, a digital instrument panel, a Bang & Olufsen premium stereo, a 360-degree camera system and a head-up display.

Should I Buy the 2020 Audi A7?

The A7 is a stylish and functional alternative to a conventional mid-size luxury sedan, and it boasts a finely crafted interior and strong performance from its turbo V-6. However, it’s not the easiest to see out of and doesn’t offer much cabin storage space.

20+ days out of service

HUD doesn't work, didn't start one morning and had to be towed, staeering wheel locked in full up position, vibration in front end at 55 mph. Complete disaster, worse car ever and Audi could care less.

More time at dealer than in driveway

Electronics are screwed up, dealer gives it back and says we are good, two days later, HUD doesn’t work, steering wheel stuck all the way up, mirrors closed. What a mistake this was
