Took my truck in for a blown spark plug (#4 cylinder) and broken coil pack. Service manager gave me a high quote of $330 plus cost of coil pack ($65)..... Said he did it high due to not sure if anything else was needing repair.. Upon calling and seeing if truck was done, I was ask if I wanted to replace the other spark plugs due to a couple being fouled. It would be $1600. To do because a couple might break....I stated no; just repair the blown plug ( needs heli coil and plug and a new coil pack..total he charged me was $625... When I stated that was way higher than he first told me, he said we had to diagnose it and charge for a plug, coil pack and a heli coil.. I said that I already told you what was wrong and even put the blown out plug and broken coil pack on the drivers floor board...

First oil change on my truck I went to the "Quick Lane". Took 3 hours. Had to go back 2 days later because they spilled so much oil on the engine it was... smoking. Second oil change I made an appointment for the oil change and a recall item. Part was supposedly order 2 weeks ago. When I got there was told it had not come in. No call to me to let me know this. 2 hours for the oil change when I had an appointment. When I came home I called Malloy Ford and they got me in the next day to do the recall item. No mention of having to order a part. Also note that I purchased 2 trucks on the same day from this dealer. Never again.

The overall process was eh.. I told them where I wanted to be and they did the normal back and forth. But when I told them the sale was a no go they couldn’t... return my car to me. They had “already started the MD state inspection process” per the sales manager prior to taking delivery of the vehicle. The sales person did not call me back other than to try and sweeten the deal. So I’m not really sure what they did, or what happened to my car. But they got the numbers where I wanted them to be so I ended up purchasing the truck. But I probably wouldn’t recommend them to a friend or family member. Just didn’t sit well with me that they couldn’t give me my car back when asked and just kept lowering the numbers to get me to purchase the truck.
Repair for recall completed- quick scheduling, appreciated shuttle service at dealership.

It took two visits to diagnose the problem causing the air bag light to stay on, and almost a full week to fix the problem. The delays were blamed on the... FedEx delivery. It seems to me that Ford would have a quicker system for getting their parts. One explanation I was given said the dash had to be taken apart to fix the problem, but the paperwork I got mentioned only the seat being taken apart. There seems to have been some internal confusion in the service department about what was going on. I got a rental car instead of a loaner, as I had expected. Enterprise Car Rentals said your policy was only to rent out Fords, and all they had was a double cab F-150 truck for me. Neither my wife nor me liked having to drive and park such a very long and very high and wide vehicle. I am surprised that your car dealership does not have loaner cars. That would have been more convenient. But my air bag problem seems to have been fixed.
