Took my jeep in for an oil change. told them at drop off it takes 5 quarts, I wanted a tire rotation and an alignment check. 9 hours later, I pick it... up. 6 quarts of oil, tire rotation done but didn't include the spare in the rotation, and was told an alignment wasn't needed even though the vehicle pulled to the right. No paper was provided to prove that it wasn't needed. Fact is, they didn't even do it. When I questioned why 6 quarts of oil was put in, I got told, it's a 3.6L, all 3.6L require 5.75 quarts of oil. Well sweetheart, my Jeep is a JL with a smaller oil pan than the other 3.6L's you've been servicing, and it's on page 509 of the manual. Showed this to her, and she still blankly looked at me in the face and said, the manual's wrong, it's 5.75 quarts. Just took my Jeep to Firestone this morning, 8 days later, and the front end alignment was badly off confirming what I told NCJDR.
I was very well pleased with Lonni Wood’s handling of my transaction. He is knowledgeable, was prompt and polite. He explained the features of my new car... well and set up Blue Tooth for me.i

I had the pleasure of working with Rob Wolfe and Tom Biggs on the purchase of my Jeep Compass. I can't speak highly enough of their professionalism, attention... to detail and friendliness! A wonderful experience!
Lucky was a great guy to work with. Easy going with no big pressure tactics but answered all my questions. I would use Newark Jeep and Lucky again anytime.
Came in for a very specific car and our salesman did everything to get us what we wanted. We even got a great deal on financing. I would definitely return... if I ever need another new car.
Took my jeep in for repairs taking longer than anticipated however the attitudes from the receptionist and some of the staff terrible. And this is not... my first negative interaction with the facility. It's a shame because some staff namely repairs dept are professional and considerate but for the most part bad experience.
Best car buying experience ever! Sales rep, Lonnie Wood, did an amazing job in helping me find the right car that fits my needs. He walked me through the... process, giving me solid information, and patiently waited as my reviewed everything. I felt comfortable and valued as a customer
Great experience. Got me out of a crappy situation into a new car
Thank you Anthony for the review and we certainly appreciate your business.
The sales process at Newark Jeep was great -- fast, easy, convenient. We purchased two 2014 Jeeps last year -- Grand Cherokee & Wrangler Unlimited. The... service department, however, is horrendous! Our 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Edition has been recalled numerous times (too many!!) and each time the service department finds a way to make the matter even worse! They are unable to fix the problem on the first visit -- we always have to make a return trip. More concerning is the quality control and management. Several times we have had them flat-out lie to us about the repairs. Sometimes it's very simple things like "did you reset the change oil light" -- to which they always respond "yes", but we often find that is not the case. Our last visit involved the "check engine" light. They called to say the vehicle was fixed. I questioned what they found -- "there were no codes, it just needed to be updated, all is good". Upon picking-up the vehicle, the check engine light came on immediately! Suddenly, now there was a repair code! The Service Manager is always apologetic, but never corrects the underlying issues with his department! The ownership of the dealer is not responsive -- they have neglected to respond to telephone calls or emails. The corporate office is equally as disconnected -- they never follow-up on negative surveys. I love my Wrangler....can't wait to replace the Grand Cherokee...and will never buy from Newark Jeep again.
