(0/5 Stars) DO NOT use this dealership for repairs!

(0/5 Stars) DO NOT use this dealership for repairs!! They have drilled a hole in my engine and cut the fuel line to my vehicle while constantly leaving old parts in my car. They would not have told me about the damage they caused or tried to fix it, if I did not bring it to a different dealership to check their work. They have charged me for needless repairs without fixing the issue. They can’t even fix simple issues, one customer came in because they installed his license plate incorrectly. In addition to their shoddy work, it is hard to get in contact with anyone. I always have to call them at least 5 times a day before I can get an actual update on my car, even if they tell me they will call me. Not to mention getting a meeting with anyone is almost impossible. DO NOT GO HERE!! They will cost you money and break your vehicle. Even with a new manager they still have the same staff who cause the same issues. I have been going to VW dealership for 10 years, and this is the worst experience I have ever had.

Fraud and worst service department.

Fraud and worst service department. Recommending service that is not at all needed. Charging heavy fees after the initial estimate. VW America should look into this dealership as they are tarnishing VW reputation for making few bucks fraudulently. They do not have a service manager available to listen to customer concerns. Never again!

This dealership scammed me for $3000.

This dealership scammed me for $3000.00 pretending they care , they sold me 1 year extended warranty ,knowing so well I did not qualify for it, after 1 month I found out I did not qualify for it, went back to the dealership, and confronted them with their mistake, so they were so happy to cancel my warranty but got back only $900,so I needed answers for the scam and this is where the scam starts The manager no longer works here The finance manger on holiday The person who sold you the warranty left the company We do not have manger The new manger is looking into it Go to VW headquarters, they will solve the issue The headquarters are not responsible for dealerships mistakes Go back to dealerships Dealership go back to VW Finally the worst answer from new manager , it’s been more than a year and nothing can be done My advice never trust a dealership, never trust a finance sales man, never let their sweet talk fool you , bunch of scammers The headquarters should know their dealership, once the dealership raise VW logo they are representing the VW company , shame on VW and the dealership I think people should be aware of this scam, and should be warned and be alarmed, I have lost my money , but surely would like to see that those scammers cannot do this to others in future

HIGHLY INCOMPETENT.

HIGHLY INCOMPETENT. The worst repair service department I have ever encountered. I needed to have my camshaft position sensor replaced and timing belt replaced. The whole reason I went in was because the camshaft position sensor set off my check engine light. Which led to realizing my timing belt replacement was past due. The service rep said they replace the sensor when they replace the timing belt. Well they didn't. Not only that it took 3 days to do a 4-8 hr job. No one bothered to call me for 2 days. Then when I went to pick up my car they told me my right side cooling fan was not working. Which actually turned out to be the left side cooling fan. Three weeks later what goes off in my car but the check engine light for the camshaft position sensor. My family has owned 14 VWs since 1989 and this was by far the worst service experience ever. I asked them to install the sensor for the price of the part and they told me to go pound sand. They could not help me.

Although my salesman Juan was great, my experience with

Although my salesman Juan was great, my experience with the rest of the sales process was incredibly disappointing. My brand new 2024 was delivered dirty inside and out. For the outside I did request a touch less car wash only, which according to my saleman was unavailable. The inside however need a quick 15 minute detail, as there were dirty streaks on the headliner, leather trim, cargo area, and plastic trim in throughout the vehicle, but for whatever reason that wasn't done. As I'm registering the SUV in WV, which issues only one plate, once the deal was made and paperwork started, I specifically and very clearly asked that my brand new car NOT have a front license plate bracket installed. To my surprise it was installed anyway, with the tech apparently telling Juan that it had to be installed prior to delivery. Again, I'm registering the vehicle in WV. So now I have not two or four, but six holes in the front bumper of my brand new SUV. The process to close out the financing took far too long. I arrived at the dealership at 1430 and wasn't able to leave until after 2000. After waiting for quite a while, and to speed things up and to get a MUCH better interest rate, I secured my own financing through my phone with my bank in minutes. Only then was I about an hour away from actually leaving the dealership with my new car. Adding additional frustration to my buying experience, a few days later my bank contacted me to make me aware that my auto loan couldn't be finalized because the purchase amount reflected on the dealer funding form provided by my bank for dealership to complete, and the amount on the final purchase agreement were not the same. So another email and phone call was necessary for me to ensure that error was addressed by the dealership. Finally, as if all of this wasn't enough, my branch new SUV with an odometer reading of five miles was delivered to me with four small cuts in the leather trim on the passenger side, as well as a wonky door lock/unlock button that unlike the driver's side, doesn't sit flush with the door trim. These issues resulted in two additional visits to the dealership, and a very awkward conversation with service department staff that were clearly not understanding their own, or VW's process for rectifying these issues. Initially I was told that I'd have to leave my vehicle with them for "one or two days so that a issue report could be generated with VW". Only when I questioned the logic of that direction was the sales manager involved and way ahead resolved that did not included leaving my car for a day or two with the dealership (for non-mechanical issues and the staff already had pictures of what was wrong). My new 2024 SUV is great, and I'm very thankful Juan called and told me one had just arrived, but my experience beyond that with this dealership was very disappointing. In future there is absolutely no way I will trust them with the maintenance of my now beloved SUV. Trust has been damaged almost from the very moment I arrived at Fairfax Volkswagen.
