My wife and I visited Auto Giants Nissan looking at a

My wife and I visited Auto Giants Nissan looking at a Hyundai Tucson. Since we already had financing lined up, I called Saturday morning to confirm if a deal could be made. The sales manager, Bobby, assured us the car would definitely fit within our financing and that we could make it work, so we made the trip. After a 2+ hour drive, we test-drove the car, but when it came time to finalize the deal, the numbers didn’t actually work like Bobby had said. He then wanted us to apply for financing through the dealership. On top of that, they lowballed our trade-in at $5,000, claiming auctions were only bringing around $5,700, so I understood. However, they later listed our trade-in for sale at their dealership instead of sending it to auction, proving they had lied about that too. We waited for hours to hear back but got no answer and had to drive home, with the promise they’d call Monday. On Monday, they called and said we were approved, but the numbers looked suspiciously high. Turns out, they had reduced our trade-in value to $3,800 and added over $5,000 in extended warranties without telling us. It felt like they were trying to sneak extra costs past us. Instead of dealing with their financing, we extended our own financing through our bank and returned to the dealership. To their credit, they did give us the original trade-in value and removed the unnecessary warranties without much resistance. However, once they realized we were sticking with our own financing, they made us sit there for hours while they ran us through more financing companies, trying to convince us to use theirs instead. The one bright spot in the experience was Sean, the sales rep. He was extremely nice, helpful, and overall the most pleasant part of the process. Unfortunately, the dealership’s business practices overshadowed that. While we ultimately got the car at the right price, the experience was frustrating and felt like a lot of unnecessary runaround. The whole process felt like a classic bait-and-switch, where they got us in the door with promises that didn’t hold up. I wouldn’t recommend Auto Giants unless you’re prepared for drawn-out negotiations and potential bait-and-switch tactics.

I was willing to drive to Woodbridge, Va.

I was willing to drive to Woodbridge, Va. (from Chesterfield) to look at a particle vehicle primarily because I was told by the person who set the appointment that the price would be negotiable. After talking with the salesperson and doing the test drive, a person (who I believe was the sales manager) said the price was not negotiable. Had I been told that when I made the appointment, I would not have driven all that distance to begin with. They also wanted to charge a $999.00 processing fee, which was also non-negotiable. We were led to believe that, by law, that fee was not negotiable. When I returned home, I tried to verify that. I went to a site called "Virginia Automobile Dealers Association" and according to this site, dealers are not required to charge a processing fee at all. It is a business decision that each business makes. It also states that each dealership determines how much to charge for processing. As my son and I were leaving, the sales manager(?) asked if reducing the (sales) price by $100.00 would make any difference? I said "No." That question made it sound like maybe the price was negotiable afterall, but now it was too late. So our experience overall was a very negative one. But I don't blame the salesperson for any of that. He did his job - we had no issue with him. The bottom line is, we would not recommend buying a vehicle from this dealership.

Claude was extremely helpful to get me in the car I

Claude was extremely helpful to get me in the car I specifically wanted. He is a very sociable person to negotiate with. Claude made the sale a smooth, fun process. Soon I was driving off the lot. Thanks again Claude for all of your help. You’re my guy for all my future purchases.

I have previously purchased a vehicle here and so has

I have previously purchased a vehicle here and so has someone in my family. I was there for my second Nissan and 5 hours later I left with nothing. Sarah is likely the rudest person I have encountered at a dealership (we know that it is not uncommon for them to push their agenda) Sarah goes above and beyond in this area, from the tone she uses, cutting you off and not listening to why you came there in the first place. I came in with a very clear idea of what I wanted and was not listened to. I’m not sure if she understands that people may actually want to spend more if someone treats them with decency.. wild concept I know. They also yelled out my private information across the room to confirm with me and everyone in the room could hear my information..and said I was “sensitive” about it..for not wanting anyone knowing my contact information. They take so little care in their customers that the vending machine took my money and they would not give it back LOL, they left it as it was for other customers to have the same issue. People spend thousands of dollars at your establishment, overpaying after you wear them down and you have the audacity to treat people that way especially people who come back?!. What a shame. I would have driven a Nissan for years to come now I will happily drive the competitors car up the street from them and never recommend them again.

Lies and Deceit

Let me say this first, the finance manager. Started out very friendly AKA Bobby greeted me with a smile told me he was going to get me the best deal regarding the sale of my SUV 2007 FX 35. Bobby told me it will only take 15 minutes to seal the deal which was a lie. Then Bobby sends Tyler to greet me and tell me they were only offering me $1000.00 after I was told at first, I was getting top dollar. I told them no I'm not accepting that amount on top of saying that they will process the sale and I would get a check 4-7- days later. On the call Bobby told me I would get cash in hand day of sale. Which I was lied too once again. Everything about this dealership used car department is totally based on a lie just to get you in then change up the process of delivery. First of all, cash in hand isn't a check to be process 4-5 days later. Secondly passing the process to salesmen to salesmen is unprofessional on so many levels. I'm not sure how many people have experience this reckless, time wasted process. But I hope someone will see this post. I do hope someone in corporate office will look into the management and review policy and true mission of purpose. When dealing with others. Don't buy or sell your automobile to this dealership!
