I had a fantastic experience with an out of state car

I had a fantastic experience with an out of state car lease and basically made the deal over the phone. Muhammad was a pleasure to deal with and the finance department made the process seamless. Fitzgerald has more experience with out of state purchases than any dealer I have ever worked with. I will definitely be back when my lease is up.

I had the pleasure of working with Fawad when purchasing a 2025 Genesis G70, and I can honestly say it was the best car-buying experience I’ve ever had. From the start, Fawad was incredibly informative, taking the time to explain every detail of the car and answering all my questions with patience and clarity. He made the entire process feel seamless, and I never felt rushed or overwhelmed. What truly set him apart, though, was his genuine kindness and sense of humor. He created such a welcoming atmosphere that it felt less like a transaction and more like a conversation with a friend. I never once felt like we were waiting around for something, as he was always on top of everything and kept things moving smoothly. Thank you, Fawad, for making my G70 purchase such an enjoyable experience!

My review is based on my experience and not the car

My review is based on my experience and not the car itself. I recommend the Hyundai Kona but I strongly do not recommend the gaithersburg location. Edit: I shared my experience with the director of guest services after I found a rip in the steering wheel. She told me I could schedule a time to possibly get it fixed. After not hearing from her and taking some time to reflect on my experience with purchasing my first car, I decided to change my review to 1 star. She then called me to say that I would have to sign a contract saying I would no longer write negative reviews if I wanted to get my steering wheel fixed. I told her I'm no longer interested because it was never about the steering wheel, it was about how I was treated. I would rather speak my truth and ensure that future car buyers do not experience the same thing. I recently bought my first car (hyundai kona). My sales person Simon was very kind and helpful. However, I had some issues with one of the sales managers who made multiple mistakes and misinformed my sales consultant with the wrong numbers. The whole process took multiple days because they could not find the car that I wanted (Kona white AWD). Then they informed me that there was a Kona white FWD available which is obviously pricier. When I finally came in to seal the deal, I was told that the original 0% interest fee was now suddenly 2.2%. I felt frustrated and blind sided. On top of this, when I spoke with the sales manager over the phone, she was extremely aggressive and rude. If there is a mistake or complication, I don't believe that it is ever okay to put your frustrations on others, especially your customers.

Dealership was very clean and had many options of various trims to choose from. We had a very pleasant experience and Muhammed made the sell feel very personal and comfortable. We will be back once our financing is finished.

The service department is outstanding, we've had 4 cars serviced here over 17 years and they are always professional, organized, and communicative. Our experience has been that quality dealer service is actually the lowest cost of ownership, providing highly reliable operation from new warranty to well over 100K and 150K miles.
