The facility looks almost like an impound lot. No banners or flags here. (Good, we don't have to pay for decorations!) I expected something to go badly... wrong buying our 2013 Toyota Prius from Sterling given we got a very competitive deal from them. We live in Maryland so the titling process was a bit pokey and took substantially longer than we were told it would. We were a little nervous something had gone wrong, but when the dust settled, months and months later, the paperwork went through fine in the end and the 2013 Prius has been a champ. Sterling Motorsports did well by us. Maybe it wasn't frictionless, but in every way that mattered to me, this deal was good and the minor issues were well compensated by the money we saved. Wrote this review because I was looking into a car for my new driver daughter and lo and behold, who had a good deal? Sterling Motorsports again. Would not fear their low prices this time around. I hope they're around a long time and never leave their humble, tiny little lot at the end of that long dusty road in Sterling.
Smooth transaction, the car is running great so far, just missing the spare tire and Jack, other than that good car and friendly people
Bought a car last month I really like the professionalism of the sales person & all other staff. This place is worth more than 5 stars.
We went there a couple weeks ago and test drove a vehicle. Our experience there was okay; we awkwardly waited for a while when we arrived as the sales... staff mostly ignored us. This would have been more reasonable had it been busy, but it was not. The sales person seemed relatively uninterested in selling us a vehicle, but at least he wasn’t overly pushy. He commented on how great the price was, but because of the number of cosmetic issues we opted not to get it that day (the interior of the vehicle was worn past normal wear and tear—the vehicle was only 5-years-old and looked worse than my ten-year-old vehicle). We decided to keep looking as well as research replacement parts for the interior to get it into better shape should we decide to purchase it. We let them know we would just message them on facebook since that was how we found the car in the first place. We spent time researching ways to improve the interior and how to get replacement parts. We looked for deals and calculated the cost of restoring the car to what a five year old car should look like, managing our expectations, and thoughtfully put together an offer considering the added costs of fixing it, the Kelley blue book value, the fact that this vehicle was being sold “as is,” the company’s $400 or so “processing fee” that they don’t mention in their listings, and the 3% credit card processing fee (which I read about in reviews and seems absurd for a car dealership). We sent this through facebook, as agreed, and although they saw it we didn’t receive a response. A day later I messaged again, they saw it, and nothing. It’s a little disappointing after we put a bunch of time into researching and were flexible on our offered price. Tl;dr: Sales people are rude/apathetic and there are a number of hidden fees. 1/5; do not recommend.
Our experience was amazing, Yasser is the best sales consultant we have dealt with before. Wahel and Eddy were also nice for their assistance all the way... through financing and finishing the process.
Great experience in buying a car here. In less than an hour, I had test driven the car that I was interested in, done the paperwork, and was driving home.... No muss. No fuss. Yassir is a good guy, and easy to work with.
I recently purchased a 2013 Nissan Rogue from Sterling Motorsport. Wael responded to my online request for info in a timely manner. No pressure when I... arrived for a test drive. All questions and concerns were addressed. Sale transaction was smooth and efficient. He and his manager were good to do business with.
