Unprofessional. I’ve purchased two other cars and don’t recall having such a bad experience. Not going go into all the details. As if getting stranded... in the middle of road test driving a car wasn’t bad enough. They gave me a car with barely any gas. Fast forward, I made a couple attempts to contact the salesman (and other staff/managers) after the purchase. The first time was for a cracked windshield. Took a month to track down the third party. They kept avoiding my calls until I reached the main head office. Second time, was wanting to know when/who I should contact for the permanent license plates so I reach out to the salesman. Mind you, it had been several years since a car purchase so I was unfamiliar with the process. Months elapsed and I finally pulled over by the cops for expired temp tags - leaving me in a compromising position. I lost track and did not realize they expired. Of course, I finally track down the right department only to find out the plates had come in 5 days before I contacted the salesman. Was it so hard for this incompetent sales person to guide me? Funny because they call/reach you non stop to make a sale but are too lousy for a minor customer update when asked. As a test, I tried again but didn’t hear back from anyone. They said the called but not once did I hear a voicemail from them. Avoid this place. .Other places will do better and you don’t have beg for assistance. They’ll do it right the first time. Never buying from Ourisman in general.
Just bought a Chevrolet SSR retro pick up in the used truck dept. Couldn't be more pleased with this dealership from the sales rep to the manager. After... looking for the SSR for at least 2 years, this one definitely was best overall condition and the deal was the best. BTW: they don't jack up the Internet pricing, and do follow up phone calls My rating for them is A
Friendly, knowledgeable sales and finance staff. Facility was clean, comfortable and hospitable. The overall transaction was very smooth and seamless.

Made an appointment for my first oil change and to get two warranty issues looked at. They suggested a noon appointment. After 4.5 hours of waiting, I... ask where my car is and its out back, they hadn't even looked at the warranty issues. When I asked why it was 4.5 hours for an oil change and no one told me the status, I was told "oh, they shouldn't schedule appointments at noon, they know nobody is here." Six days later I'm still waiting on a return telephone call from Levi, the General Manager, who apparently doesn't speak with customers. Find another service center if you want quality service.
Every person worked as part of an effective team that were excited to get me what I wanted and worked diligently to meet my goal. I bought a new vehicle.... I drive it home and recommended the dealership to my best friend and on the next day she went to them and now we both have new vehicles. Great team!!!
After my experince last Sunday, I would never dream of buying anything from this dealership. I came into the showroom, pre-approved, and knowing exactly... what I wanted ( a fully loaded Rubicon). They did not have one in stock, which was fine with me, however I was not presented with any additional options to make my purchase. I would think for a $60,000 purchase there would be a little more desire to make the sale. Neither the salesperson, or sales manager offered to search the area for a possible DX, nor was I offered the option to order a 2020. As a result, I have taken my business elsewhere.
I was interested in purchasing a used vehicle from this location, however I do not live close to the area. I spoke to a salesperson named Raenell who... was very helpful. I would suggest that if you are interested in a vehicle to deal with her. She responded to my text messages and e-mails after midnight and on her days off. Her Sales Manager, Mike Click, however does not share her customer centric focus . I knew I wanted this vehicle and was trying to negotiate a better price when he stopped responding to my e-mails. I am grateful now because I was able to buy a new vehicle from a different location and I am very happy with the purchase. If I had continued to deal with Mr. Click I would have had a vehicle I wanted, with an experience that would have left a bad taste in my mouth.
Tried to get my oil changed today and was turned away. First your representative greeted me with "What do you want?" I asked for an oil change and... he said they weren't doing them today. I said I could leave the car and pick it up on Monday to which he responded, "Probably won't be able to do it until late Monday.", and then walked away. Go somewhere else to get your car serviced. I have Mopar so it should have been a free oil change, in the future I won't waste my time trying to go there.
Waited over a week for photos of advertised vehicle for sale. Only to be told it did not pass inspection and would be over 5,000 in repairs , and is... no longer for sale. However, vehicle still for sale on cars.com. Waste of time.
I can understand your frustration and I hope you can understand ours as well. We are in business to retail vehicles and want nothing more than to sell... every car to every customer that we can. Unfortunately, this is a 2006 F-350 Dually Diesel that is too heavy for our shop's license to MD State Inspect. We sent this truck to an individual truck shop for the inspection and I authorized $2,600 worth of all new brakes and rotors for it to pass inspection. Right before they completed the work I received a phone call that the check engine light came on for EGR. The customer that traded it had removed all the EGR equipment and put a dummy in place to look like it was there. Unfortunately, in MD the EGR equipment is required to pass. After the $2,600 we've already invested and having to invest another $2,500 for the EGR equipment there is no way to resell this truck as MD State Inspected. We can however sell this truck out of state with the proper disclosure. We run a very honest and open store and practice honesty with all of our customers. I do apologize that you feel that you wasted your time, that is never our intention. We just didn't have control of this inspection, we provided you with that update as soon as we found out ourselves. Thank you for your review, it will help us better improve our business. They advise low online prices and then chop you down by thousands on your trade to make it up. Not pleased. Waste of my time.
I apologize that you feel this way. We advertise our vehicles with all available incentives, which is the normal practice in our industry. If you qual...ify for the incentives, you receive them. As for your trade, we evaluate each vehicle on a case by case basis. The value we give is based largely on condition, mileage, year, and then performance in the retail market place and/or auction records. When we make an investment on a trade we have to invest more money to recondition/repair and then sell for market value. All of this is a very fine balance. I am so sorry you did not have the desired experience here. We appreciate your feedback! Sincerely, Michael Click Pre-Owned Sales Manager Ourisman CDJR of Bowie 301-390-0880 ext. 302
