Inspection form was completed and rated my tires as good. I knew that they had not done what I asked and the problem wasn’t resolved so I took my car to... another dealership. They stated that I need tires and pointed out some other issues that were not mentioned at Pohanka Honda! Such issues could have made driving unsafe! Do not go there! Trust me! And the staff’s customer services skills are less than sub par!

I have a new 2018 honda accord and within the first 10 days of driving it the sensor went out I had to take the car to pohanka twice before they fixed... the issue then they keep the car for 1 and didnt accommodate me with a courtesy vehicle( dont have courtesy vehicles is what i was told). Since then I am currently experiencing another more issues related to the sensor and audio system which they looked at but hasnt fixed because they said they didnt find anything but the car is still having those same issues and i refuse to allow them to hold my car more then a day without beimg provided a courtesy vehicle that i dont have to pay for out of my pocket.
We brought our Honda Accord to Pohanka. We needed an entire new HVAC system put in. We showed up at 7am and waited 4 hours. When we finally got our car... back it was damaged!! The mechanic broke the part of our dash where the clock is, then glued it back together and NEVER told us they broke it. We obviously noticed it right away. Spoke to the service manager & they are ordering us a new part. We spent $1,000 on a new HVAC system on our car only to get it returned damaged. They didn’t even offer a discount after the damage was done. Louis the mechanic apparently is the one who did it. If you damage a client’s vehicle while fixing it & don’t tell them, you have some serious moral issues. We should be refunded for his time working on our car.
First things first, this is NOT an “old co-worker” or fake review!! I’ve purchased my 2018 Accord from Pohanka Honda in February, I didn’t have an issue... with the initial purchase however the car came with no maintenance plan (My Ford Fusion I owned prior came with 2 years free maintenance) but the first oil change was free at 5000 miles, I’m currently at 4000 miles after a little over 6 months (I don’t drive the car often due to working downtown DC. Anywho I take the vehicle to Pohanka to get my first oil change and everything seems good since I took my 2014 Accord for service. However this time I’m being checked in with the service writer that does an extensive walk around of the vehicle and takes several pictures of the vehicle including the rims as if it was being rented to me from Enterprise Rental, keep in mind that the images taken was visible when I signed off on the work to be done via the tablet!! I go and sit in the service lounge for about an hour or two; I was told the vehicle was done and ready. I get to the car and it’s still dirty and I noticed no washer fluid was put in the reservoir, which a wash and all fluids topped off is included in the “oil change” which now I’m not sure if this was done or not! After I get washer fluid and a wash I then proceed to go home with the car still being dirty, I took it to get a real car wash the next day and as I’m shining the tires I see curb like scuff marks on the rims!! No big deal, I proceed to contact the service department to see if I can obtain the pictures that they took and the service employee stated YES they can be obtained however only by the service manager Fred Fry, so she transfers me to his voicemail which he doesn’t return calls or messages. So I decide to take a trip up to the dealership and he magically can’t retrieve the pictures from the device that they used when my car was being serviced and stating they only save the info for 3 days. Working 6+ years in the Government Information Technology Field, I know that such documentation/pictures/information of any sort just don’t get deleted, I gets backed up and or saved. So he proceeded to walk around the vehicle and says that damage couldn’t have been done by the dealership as the vehicle are “backed into the bays” when being serviced. Me working at a car dealership when I was younger know that the vehicles are pulled into the bays with the front of the car facing the tools and diagnostic systems. So lie after lie I hear from this service “manager” just pissed me off even more. Mr. Pohanka needs to get himself a new Service Manager to manage the service department correctly because Mr. Fred Fry isn’t cutting it by a long shot!! I will take my vehicle to Brown’s Honda, Ourisman Honda, Landmark Honda etc. anybody but Pohanka!! FRED FRY IS A COMPLETE JOKE
Excellent buying experience at an outstanding price that totaled below the market average. Sales expert Rose Patterson was the best! She was knowledgeable,... courteous and efficient. Without any difficulty, she helped facilitate a long-distance purchase of a vehicle I located on the dealership website. I had total confidence in the entire transaction because of Rose's expertise. She was always quick to respond, and fully answered every question. Meagan Bailey in the finance department also provided excellent, efficient service. I could not have asked for a better buying experience.
