We found Lindsay Chevrolet through the true value car buying service through my company’s discount program. We were hooked up with Antron Hall to help... narrow our search. We conversed with Antron over email for about a week before we decided to come in to the showroom. Antron was very helpful, responsive and generally willing to help as much he could over email. When we made it into the showroom, again, Antron was great to work with. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle, the buying process and the specifics about what we wanted in the vehicle. Once we made a decision on the vehicle and it was time to negotiate, our buying experience was not as positive. We were working with Shawn, who I assume was the manager on duty. Generally, he was ok to work with though we did take minor offense when he told us he wasn’t in this business to make money, he was in it to help people. Perhaps this is a negotiating/sales tactic but this absurd and insults my intelligence. This is a business driven by commissions and quotas, not goodwill. Again, working with Shawn was generally ok and did not adversely affect our decision. It was when we started working with the finance director, Hamza, where things soured. When Hamza approached, the conversation jumped straight into numbers. He asked what we were looking for in terms of price and rates, to which we told him. His response was, “No, I can’t do that” and asked us again, what we wanted. This cycle repeated a few more times with both sides getting agitated. At this point, my wife and I were both ready to call it quits and take our business elsewhere. Ultimately, Hamza came back with the price and rate we were looking for and we made a deal. Hamza was never friendly or personable through the entire experience. Shawn being the manager never took the time to come back and congratulate us or say goodbye. After all was said and done, we told Antron, if it were not for the positive experience we had with him, we would have walked. While this might sound petty, when a couple is making a large purchase and the people they are working with are insensitive to their reservations or hesitation its ugly. Ultimately, we made the purchase at the price and rate we wanted but would be hesitant to recommend to others due to interactions with the management staff.

Worst experience in what should have been a good day. They do not honor prices advertised online. It’s a bait and switch. Come in and we have the truck... you want at listed price- then add a ton of unadvertised mark up to make a profit. No other dealer acts this way. I left and bought a truck an hour later at koons with no hassle and a very pleasant experience.

The experience was awesome for my husband and I last week. We went in with our old Chevy which was just about done, we went with just the idea of maybe... looking at some cars or talking to someone. Miguel found us and we told him the deal, he excitedly took us out to see cars that would fit our needs better for our growing family, he showed us diff models diff interiors of the car we wanted. We took a test drive with him and got to feel and see the car more personally. He was a great sales associate with us. He put us at ease about being able to trade in the old car and be able to come out with a brand new one. We couldn’t believe it would be possible at all. He was very attentive, communicated everything to us. The financial associate who helped us was Angel and he was just as awesome as Miguel. He gave me some extra snacks from his personal stash because he saw I was expecting and had been there some time already. He found multiple routes for us as far as financing. We didn’t feel stressful or pressured at all we felt great about our decision and he made us feel really comfortable with what we would he financing at. They were both just great we had a really good experience.

UPDATED REVIEW: Avoid this dealership at all costs. If you are ever taking a vehicle in for repairs, READ THIS FIRST. BACKSTORY: I took my Corvette in... earlier this summer to the Lindsay service department to have some repairs done. I had an engine misfire issue that caused the vehicle to shake and rumble violently. After dropping the car off, it sat in the parking lot for over two weeks (I checked up on it quite often) and texted the service rep asking him how things were looking. They said they were still looking into it and were unable to find a solution to the problem. Unless they repair vehicles outside in the parking lot next to their exit ramp, the vehicle sat untouched in the exact same spot since day one. Another couple weeks go by and I ask about the Corvette again, and they stated they searched for every possible solution but still couldn’t figure out what the problem was, but didn’t hesitate to make other small “critical” repairs to accrue additional charges along the way (another regular dealership practice Lindsay obviously advocates). Roughly $3k and one month later, I took back the Corvette with the same issues as when I initially dropped it off. Their Corvette “expert” was unable to solve the problem. A few months later, I took my Corvette to a special restoration company called Corvette World down in Dallas; yes, actual certified expert Corvette specialists who only work on Corvettes, nothing else. After dropping off the car, they get back to me in less than four hours stating they fixed the issue. My mechanics told me that the “expert” Lindsay mechanic ordered and installed fuel injectors that were completely incompatible. Not only that, but the Lindsay mechanic also hooked two cylinder wires backwards and had screws installed incorrectly (longer screws were sticking out because they were in sockets that were too shallow while those same socket’s short screws were screwed into much deeper sockets allowing some wiggle room.) Corvette World undid all the damage the Lindsay mechanic caused and also repaired my engine correctly for just a little over $1k in only a few hours. After receiving the diagnostics report from Corvette World, I contact Lindsay to arrange a refund just for the incorrect parts they installed, nothing else. The mechanic immediately blamed Lindsay’s GM supplier for shipping him the fuel injectors he used for the repair. His e-mail response was, “We order parts per factory GM parts catalog. If the injectors were incompatible then Gm would not recommend and if the injectors were deemed faulty they would have been covered by any Gm dealer nationwide as a parts warranty.” He then concluded with, “We are not willing to refund money by the accusations made by the Corvette restoration shop.” UPDATE: I’ve begun the process of taking legal action against Lindsay Chevrolet and am currently drafting a memorandum for submission to GM HQ. More updates will be posted as they come. Just to add some more credibility regarding Lindsay’s service department, the day I took my Corvette in, there was an older couple next to me yelling at a service rep behind the counter because a Lyndsay mechanic re-installed something in their engine backwards, leaving them without transportation for three days. NOTE FOR THE LINDSAY MECHANIC: It’s not GM’s responsibility to make sure compatible vehicle parts are ordered and shipped, it’s your responsibility as the “expert.” Those fuel injectors you installed were not “faulty,” they were incompatible, which again is your fault. GM is not to blame for the part order you placed. I went on GM’s website and looked up the fuel injectors you ordered and saw the corresponding compatibility chart below it; my specific vehicle year was not listed anywhere. I know this, GM knows it, and those Corvette World mechanics who accused you of malpractice know it too. You can’t accuse someone for making accusations against you when they actually fixed a problem you couldn’t.

Please find another dealership! this one is garbage. Kayla Atar is great but the "head-shed" will won't care about you. When I received the email asking... for me to leave feedback, this is what they said: "We strive to make every call, appointment, and visit to our dealership a remarkable experience for you, our customers" The statement is an absolute lie. The dealership thinks that everyone that walks through the doors is an idiot. I dealt with Kayla Atar, a very good and conscience driven sales lady. She did what she could to ensure a smooth transaction but no one could ensure smoothness with the monster known as Lindsey Chevrolet. My 2015 Silverado had a transmission killing event. Something to the effect of the shaft on the 4th gear broke in half and there was no warranty. The ridiculousness that I went through to purchase another vehicle was something I don't think ANYONE should have to deal with. I dealt with one of the four sales managers who kept asking what my bottom line on a payment was (stupid four corners or four square selling). I told him and he cam back to me about 15 min later and gave me a number that was about $200 higher than my bottom line. I asked why he would do that knowing what I told him and what he showed me were so far apart. I let him know if he can't get to the number, no problem I would go elsewhere. He leaves and comes back at approximately $150 away from my bottom line. What??? What did he not figure out from our last conversation 20 min ago? He then tried to tell me that he would take off the $1595.00 used car fee that supposedly pays for 2 oil changes and all weather mats. If you do the math, 2 oil changes are about $100 each and the cheap all weather mats were not worth $50. The sales mgr tried to act like he hooked me up by removing the charge. I'm pretty sure you can't force the consumer to pay that fee. After almost the entire evening spinning our wheels and playing the 4 square game, my wife and I ended up leaving the dealership without making a deal. That night I was advised by another member of Lindsey Chevy to ask for Mr. Brooks. I showed back up the next day and Mr. Brooks began to play the 4 square game again. At least this time he was a little more direct about it. I eventually made a deal, not a good one but I needed a vehicle I they new I was "trapped" because my Silverado was in their service dep. The preowned truck went into the detail shop to make it ready for delivery. It also went in to service to ensure it was a certified vehicle. I went to look at the truck while it was in detail and already a certified used truck and I noticed one of the tires was very worn. I asked Mr. Brooks about it and he said they have their own people that inspect it to get the sticker and if anything happens, it's on them. REALLY??? THAT'S EASY TO SAY WHEN YOU ARE NOT THE ONE BEHIND THE WHEEL WITH YOUR FAMILY. I appealed to Mr. Coslin, the main sales manager. He refused to correct anything and said "the truck is sold as is and will not get new tires" A certified truck is sold as is? News to me... By the way Mr. Coslin will play the stare-down game. He is pretty much a large part of the problem from where I sit. Save yourself some time, go somewhere else that won't play games and will show you respect. AWEFUL dealership. I will say that Lindsey Lexus, where I purchased my wife's car is outstanding! So it isn't the practice of the Lindsey group to be terrible, it's just the practice of Lindsey Chevrolet. P.S. I am in the process of having the vehicle looked at by another Chevy dealer. I don't trust these guys at all.
