When considering whether to visit a car dealership, especially one as reputable as BMW of Alexandria, it’s important not to rely solely on online reviews. I am a living witness to how misleading those reviews can be. Before my visit, I came across several negative comments that made me second-guess going, but I decided to see for myself, and I’m glad I did. From the Sales Manager, Kanchan Sedhai to the Finance Manager, Jeremy Seepersaud, to the actual salesperson, Krishma, and the Electric vehicles Edward, each individual conducted themselves with professionalism and respect. No, they didn’t do me any special favors, but they represented the company well, as you would expect from a brand known for high-end vehicles. My experience was “tremendous”, completely different from what I had read, which taught me an important lesson: reviews are just opinions, often influenced by personal circumstances. Some customers may have had a bad day or misunderstood a situation. That’s why I encourage you to visit and experience it for yourself before forming an opinion. Great Job! Jean Cyprien

Business Office: Predatory Money-Grab Schemes From the moment we sat down with the finance manager, it was clear this wasn’t about helping us—it was a full-blown hustle: • $3,695 “Ceramic Tint + Warranty” • Market rate for a full-car ceramic tint + basic warranty: $399–$609 • Markup: 600–925% of what you’d pay elsewhere • $5,499 Two-Year BMW Ultimate Care Extension • Typical cost for a factory-backed 2-year maintenance plan: ≈$2,700 • Markup: ~204% • $5,190 XPEL Paint Protection Film • Starting market price for full-car PPF: ≈$1,295 • Markup: ~301% • $2,179 “LoJack” Theft-Recovery Service • Installation alone runs $700–$1,500 • Markup: 45–211%, plus it’s completely obsolete—BMW’s built-in GPS/My BMW app already offers real-time tracking Then came the APR bait-and-switch: 1. Quoted 6.99% APR despite both of us having credit scores in the high-800s and a hefty down payment. 2. I called USAA mid-meeting, secured a substantially lower rate, and—only then—he “found” a 2% discount on his original offer. 3. It was painfully obvious they keep a “high” rate and a “low” rate in their back pocket, banking on you taking the first number. Every upsell felt engineered to squeeze as much profit as possible from a captive buyer. My wife and I felt flat-out insulted—this wasn’t “premium service,” it was a blatant, predatory scheme. If you’re buying a BMW here, do yourself a favor: • Handle financing through your own lender or bring hard quotes in hand. • Say “no thanks” to every add-on—they’re wildly overpriced and many are worthless. The sales team was great—but the finance desk is a scam operation. Avoid it at all costs.

Terrible experience at BMW of Alexandria.
Terrible experience at BMW of Alexandria. I brought my car in for routine service, and when I picked it up, I found a nail in one of the tires. The dealership immediately denied any responsibility, claiming the nail was already there — even though they performed a full inspection when I dropped it off and sent me a report that made zero mention of any nail or tire damage. When I questioned this, the manager gave me a completely contradictory excuse, saying they “didn’t inspect that tire.” So which is it? Either they didn’t inspect the tire (which would be negligence) or they did and are lying about the damage. Either way, it’s clear they were more interested in deflecting blame than actually helping a customer. In the end, they forced me to pay for a brand new tire out of pocket for damage that clearly happened while the car was in their care. This dealership is either careless, dishonest, or both. I won’t be coming back — and if you care about being treated fairly, you shouldn’t either.

There was a fight between sales persons about who would show the car. Then there were conflicting statements about whether the car was ready to show, including changing stories from one of the sales people. It became quite obvious that this latter person had a preferred buyer who wasn't us and, indeed, before we were notified the car was ready to show, it was suddenly sold. Forget about it! I won't go within 10 miles of this place!

Nichita was very east and patient to work with! I had a detailed requirements for a pre-owned - which is challenging. He kept great communication and let me know as soon as a lease return met what I wanted. Definitely recommend him as a client advisor!

Today was one of the worst experiences at a service
Today was one of the worst experiences at a service center I have ever had in my life. I went in for an oil change at 1:00 p.m. and I did not leave until 4:45 p.m. After several attempts to ask why it was such a delay I was simply told that there was something going on with the oil that they had and later was told that they were training a new individual in service. At no time did I have an opportunity to speak with the service manager because he / she apparently wasn't there. I do not recommend this location for any type of service, if a simple oil change cannot be completed in the proper time limits. This was my first time at this location I have had several experiences with different dealership service centers such as Audi, Cadillac, Lexus and they have all been quite Superior than the experience that I had today. I will say the only one person who saved my perspective
I will say the only one person who saved my perspective of this location was A.J Wiggins. My husband and I are visiting my parents for the holidays and we wanted to make sure that we take care of my mom’s BMW before we leave. Moreover, we have years of relations with owning multiple bmws and getting serviced at our local bmw dealership. The closet location to my parents were in Alexandria and Fairfax. We chose this location because we were able to secure a loaner in a short notice. Honestly, despite many unethical events and going back and forth while working with a different advisor and supervisor, they honored the total price for service and parts which should have been done in the first place. When my mom and I went to drop off the loaner, the only person who showed professionalism, consideration and integrity was AJ Wiggins. He asked if we were helped, seeing that we were waiting for a while and showed me and my mom consideration and also made sure that he updated us as things were slowly progressing. Despite not being the assigned advisor to us, he showed considerable willingness to help. If I have any friends or family who needs recommendation for this location, the only person I would refer is A.J Wiggins who is the service advisor. He is the only person that we felt who went outside and beyond. Thank you for doing that. It is these type of professional attitude and actions that will make a customer come back while building trust. This is done not out of personal gain but it is the right thing to do. I could feel that. And that is why, I wanted to write this long review for him. He earns it.
