Last week Friday, September 14, I called BMW of
Last week Friday, September 14, I called BMW of Alexandria service department and was routed to service advisor AJ Wiggins. AJ politely listened as I told him that I needed to get my oil changed and get back to my office the same day. He told me to bring the car in, even though I did not have an appointment, since there were not that many service jobs to complete. When I arrived, AJ greeted me, directed me to the dealer, temporary waiting area. After an hour or so of work, AJ met me in person where I was waiting and advised that the job was done and offered to wash the car by hand, since the dealer’s car wash equipment was on the blink. 30 minutes later he drove the car up. It was clean inside and out. AJ texted me a link to the invoice for my service which I signed and I left a happy camper. Overall, AJ’s manner and service were excellent. I will ask for him if I ever have any need for service to My BMW going forward.

I am very pleased with the service on my 540ix. My service advisor, Ina Pacheco, is always a pleasure to work with. Ina is very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and a true professional. The check-out staff is also very friendly and helpful. I also want to thank my longtime sales advisor, Hossein Alavi, who makes the purchasing process a pleasure for the many vehicles my wife and I have purchased from BMW of Alexandria. Hossein is the consummate professional. He’s always there to help us in any way he can, even for years after we have made the purchase. Hossein and all of the folks at the dealership are terrific and the main reason we keep coming back over many years.

I visited this dealership 3-times over the course of 2-weeks and each visit exceeded my expectations. On my first visit to conduct research on a M2 or M240i Xdrive, I went on a Saturday and the place was jam packed! However, not wanting to be a bother and more so wanting to take notes and research both vehicles, I parked and went over to the lot to begin. After being greeted and explaining my goal for the day, I spent nearly 35-minues in solitude; left alone to take photos, sit inside the vehicle, and take my time without the worry of feeling compelled or bothered. On my second visit, my wife and I went on a Friday around 3pm. After walking into the sales department, a young salesman named Nichita Gutu (pronounced nee-kee-ta) asked if we had been helped and immediately made us his priority. We explained that we were POSSIBLY in the market in the next 2-3 weeks, testing out various models from different automakers (Lexus, Audi, BMW) to see which feels best for us. Without hesitation or pause, Nichita understood our expectations and asked which vehicles we wanted to view or test drive. Over the course of 60-mins, my wife and I test drove a 2025 BMW X4 and M240i Xdrive without the salesman, eliminating the feeling of being watched or pressured. Afterwards, Nichita sat down with us and explained all promotions and discounts (in writing) currently on going for BMW; all without any mention/request to run credit or having a sense of urgency to buy a vehicle. A few days afterwards, I requested from Nichita the following data points for a potential lease: capitalized cost, residual value, money factor, does BMW offer closed or open leases, any dealer or miscellaneous fees, and a final purchase sheet. Within the span of 30-minutes, Nichita provided all details without reservation. On our final visit, I came to the decision to potentially lease the 2024 M240i Xdrive and trade in my 2018 Golf R (stock). However, this was all dependent on what they would offer for my trade-in as well as what discounts could be applied. The dealership matched all offers for my trade-in and even added some more discounts (year-end and military) towards a new vehicle to which I decided to purchase the M240i Xdrive. Over the next 2-hours, Nichita provided all details and numbers from the finance office and was completely transparent. Understanding this is a business and most customers would feel weary or cautious, Nichita is the epitome of professionalism, class, attention to detail, and most importantly respect. I rarely leave Google reviews (though I should probably be better at that as I use them to pre-judge a place!), I felt the need to highlight the unparalleled skill and superb service Nichita provided throughout the entire process. Pending what the wife’s next vehicle of choice is, should she want a BMW we will EXCLUSIVLEY work with Nichita from BMW of Alexandria in the near future. Bought BMW 5 series. Sales guy was good but finance manager was rude when I decline the services. No communication. They didn't gave manuals. Behavior was so rude. One of the manager told me it's used car so we are not responsible., I bought certified from them. No After sale. Service and respect..if you bought from them they don't know you.

I am writing to express my complete and utter
I am writing to express my complete and utter disappointment with the service I received at BMW of Alexandria. My recent experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share how poorly I was treated at your establishment. I scheduled my car for maintenance last Friday, expecting the premium service that BMW claims to offer. Instead, I was met with apathy and unprofessionalism. Upon my arrival, I was instructed to speak with an associate regarding my car. I waited inside for nearly 15 minutes while your staff either ignored me or were too busy to acknowledge my presence. Not a single person asked if I needed assistance or even had the courtesy to tell me to wait. When someone finally decided to help, I detailed the issues with my car: brake problems, an oil change, an expired safety check, and any other necessary fixes. I was promised that all of these would be addressed, and the car would be thoroughly cleaned. I was also assured I would be contacted by the end of the day on Friday to pick up my car. Friday came and went without a single update. I spent Saturday morning calling your service department for nearly two hours, only to be met with endless ringing. When I finally got through, I was told that the supervisor was too busy to speak with me. Eventually, the supervisor called back, apologized, and promised that my car would be ready by 5 PM on Saturday. But, unsurprisingly, the car was not ready. I was then told it would be ready Monday morning. I rearranged my busy schedule to accommodate this delay, only to be met with further disappointment. When I finally picked up my car, I was furious to find it in a disgraceful condition. The car was filthy both inside and out, the tire pressure was low, the mirrors were not folded, and, worst of all, the safety check had not been renewed. When I voiced my concerns, the associate appeared irritated, and a shuttle driver was instructed to clean the car. The car was returned with water spots and still dirty on the inside. The associate made a half-hearted attempt to fix the mirrors, and when I mentioned the tire pressure, I was told it would "be fine after driving for a while." To top it all off, when I got home, the left tire was completely flat. This is absolutely unacceptable. I spent $3,300 on this service, fully prepared to spend an additional $7,000 to address the remaining issues, and this is the treatment I received? I have never felt so disrespected and undervalued as a customer. This experience has left me with no desire to continue any relationship with BMW. I will be sharing this horrendous experience with all my friends, family members, and my entire business network. I have already decided that neither I nor any of my companies will purchase or authorize the purchase of BMW vehicles in the future. I am beyond pissed off and completely disillusioned with BMW of Alexandria. This level of service is inexcusable and reflects poorly on your brand. I sincerely hope that steps are taken to address these issues, though I am doubtful any action will be sufficient to restore my faith in your dealership.

I have owned a BMW for almost 20 years and taken them to several dealerships around the country and have never had such poor service as experienced at BMW of Alexandria. From their manager on duty, Vince, to my service lane reps , Eddie and Skinner, they showed no initiative or urgency to correct issues from having the battery replaced. After 4 scheduled visits they still did not correct the problem. However, they charged 2 diagnostic fees to determine the cause for the check engine light. I subsequently took it to a neighborhood repair shop and had it fixed for no charge. Needless to say I will never go back to BMW of Alexandria!
