We thought it’d be hard to find any “ugly” customer care in the Auto/Car Sell Industry. Really, there’s plenty of bad, negligent customer care in the car... dealership, but downright ugly? No dealership could be so stupid, right? No, we were wrong. There is one and it is called COLLEGE PARK HONDA – 9400 Baltimore Ave, College Park MD 20740. In our case, the sales mangers collectively and catastrophically neglected their mission statement and the 3 core-values of their company. Reliable: - Promise what you will do and do what you promise. Responsible: - Be responsible for creating a customer advocate. Respectful: - Treat each person the same way you would treat your family members “They are Family” - We were promised an Out-to-door price for a vehicle and received written confirmation from the client care manger. - We were told that the deal can only works today, and they wanted us to return to the dealership to seal the deal. We agreed! - Upon our return to the dealership, the whole situation changed all of the sudden. We were told they could not do the deal and offered us over $900 higher deal. - They tried to take us through the same salesman drama with frequently changing sales managers attempting to explain that it was a misunderstanding, but we insisted on the written confirmation from the client manger. - They acted irresponsible – keep in mind, we traveled 1.5 hours from Virginia to College Park MD, because we thought they will be serious and responsible enough to honor their written words. Wrong, THEY ARE NOT!! - They did not respect our time, our trust and most importantly, they did NOT MAKE US FEEL RESPECTED by twisting words and trying to blame us for whatever happen at their end. If the written confirmation was a simple miscommunication, they had the chance to correct it prior to our arrival to the dealership. They had over 22 hours’ time after sending out the confirmation and at least 4 conversations on the phone to be honest and upfront. It is not even the money factor which makes us feel reallllly horrible, since both myself and my fiancée are decently paid professionals with over 250K combined annual incomes. Rather, the integrity and the trust worthiness of the dealership is the key factor. We most probably go elsewhere and are willing to pay higher price instead of dealing with college park honda sales associates who we think simply UNTRUSTWORTHY! Since we also have a written agreement, we will also consider filing a complaint with the Maryland Consumer Protection Agency and the Federal Trade Commission about college park honda’s deceptive practices. We will defiantly use our network to its maximum to raise awareness of these odd-hoax practice of this dealership.

I was very please with my entire new car purchase experience at College Park Honda. All the members of the staff treated me with courtesy and answered... all my question. In particular, the salesman Abdul Amos was very helpful and continues to be well after my purchase of a Honda Pilot.

I did not expect to come out with a car. I thought I might get some kind of quote and do a comparison. But I was PLEASED. From the moment I walked in I... was treated with respect. The lady at the front was sweet and got me a sales person quickly. Kola was very nice and listened to what I wanted. When he referred me to Abdul, he made sure Abdul knew what my intentions were. Abdul was GREAT. He never gave me attitude, never tried to make me go in a direction I didn't want to go. He was willing to negotiate and compromise with me (I was pretty firm on some points). And he wasn't gone once the sale was made. Oh no, he helped in getting the tags from my old car onto the new and he patiently waited as I moved things from my old care to the new. And helped me pair my phone to the Bluetooth system. Great experience. I forgot to mention Flor in the finance department. She was awesome too.
We very pleased with the new car we bought a couple of weeks ago @ College Park Honda. Mr. Abdul Amoz , the sales manager was very nice, patient & helpful... during the buying process. He's happy to explain & answer my questions about the car even days after we bought the car. I will give Mr. Amoz 10 out of 10 for his service.

I was shopping for a new car (2018 Honda Civic EXT w/ Honda Sensing). I went through about 5 dealerships in the DMV area before I came across the great... College Park Honda. Each of the other dealers promised to get me the car I wanted, since it was very limited in the state of Maryland, but NONE of them were able to get the car to their shop... except for College Park Honda!! It was close to closing time and after a day of dealing with inconsistent sellers from other dealerships, Lateef from College Park Honda was more than a fresh breath of air. On the phone, Lateef was nice and straightforward- he mentioned that the car was hard to come by, but that he would do all that he could to make sure I got what I wanted. We talked about a price that worked for both of us and the next day, I came into the dealership and signed for my car! The manager, Mr. Ajayi even came over to make sure everything was okay and to congratulate me on my purchase! I am a first time buyer, and College Park Honda definitely made a lasting impression. Great people! I would definitely recommend their service to every and anyone interested in buying a new or used vehicle. They are more friendly and true to their word than the other dealers that I visited in the area. Thank you again Lateef and Mr. Ajayi!!!
I went to college park Honda twice and this is the worst customer service ever. Last month I went there for service as my family mechanic told me my car... had oil leak. I have my 2015 crv. They checked my car and told me my car need alignment. I paid $129 for maintenance my car. (Alignment) without any question. After check leak they said they find the leak and want me to bring the car back to see where the leak come from. Today I went there I parked my car and talked with customer service. She made me really feel uncomfortable as I told her that my car need a service for oil leak check she look at the paper I gave her. Then she told me to wait. I waited about 20 mins she said the mechanic found the leak so I need to bring my car back. While she is going to make appointment she saw my address which is in Rockville,md. Then she told me why don't I go to Rockville dealer instead. It is the same Honda dealer so she printed out the pictures of oil leak areas and gave to me. I said if I go there I have to start over again. And now I am here and your customer. You just told me to go another dealer because my car is under warranty and you don't make money then you don't want to fix it. Is that true? Just one question to manager, superviser and customer service department "what do you call this kind of your employee behave and act." This is kind of lazy and irresponsible. Very rude and bad service ever.
