I called ahead to make sure the vehicle I was interested in was still available the sales Rep Eddie took my name and number and told me to ask for him... . He assured me the vehicle would be there and that he would be happy to help. I called to notify Eddie that we were on our way and he again confirmed the car was there . We traveled all the way from another state to come check the vehicle only to fines out that when we got there Eddie told us he had sold the vehicle. He never called to inform while we were on our way that the vehicle was no longer available and showed little remorse for waiting our time and gas . He then tried offering us a totally different vehicle completely different from the one we were interested and higher in price . I told him how inconsiderate he was for waistline out time and walk out. Another customer who has just purchased a car for his wife informed us that they were con artist and sold him a lemon and that they were not willing to fix any of the issues even though he had recently purchased the vehicle. I think their actions as sign not to do business with this dealership.
Drive from Upper Marlboro to purchase a vehicle. Prior to going they said the Audi Q7 was available and I told him I’d be on my way. Got there and the... duke Eddie said “Oh it just sold” “but I have a BMW X5 available”. I didn’t want an X5, I wanted what I inquired about. Wasted time and gas when they could have called to tell me someone else was buying it. Bunch of Liars. On my way out a customer who had already brought a car there says to me “I don’t recommend buying a car here”. They said, and I quote, “I’ve had problems ever since”. FOH
I would recommend WBM to anyone in search of a great used car. WBM has an excellent selection and very nice cars in great condition. The customer service... is excellent. If you are in the area stop by and check them out!!
We thank you for the kind words. WBM of Arlington has been serving the Washington DC area for over 31 years. Over the years we have had over "35,000"... satisfied customers from as far as California and Europe. It is unfortunate that often our esteemed customers write about us in the very rare occasions when they were less than satisfied or if there may have been a misunderstanding or a mishap. We genuinely appreciate that you took the time to write about us and hope to assist you in your next purchase. Kind Regards, Ali Nezam W B M of Arlington 3210 N. 10th Street Arlington VA 22201 Web: www.wbminc.com
Traded an old classic for a newer model truck, the staff worked with me to get the vehicle through MD inspection and paid for additional work needed to... make the truck right. Very professional staff, welling to work with you so you are happy. Thanks for an exceptional car buying experience.
Went to the dealership because they had a 2008 jeep wrangler for sale. The same day i took it home the check engine light came on and the mechanic told... us the cad converter had to be replaced and now they refuse to replace it.
I went in to purchase a vehicle. At first Both Alfonso and Tony were very nice. "I communicated mainly with Alfonso, up-until I went in". I wanted to pace... myself to ensure I was making the right decision. I wasn't ready to run my credit, just wanted to checkout the inventory, but Tony convinced me to do so. "I trusted his guidance on the process". I was approved, just needed to return with one source income verification. It was a Friday evening when I went in and I schedule a return for the upcoming Monday when I would be able to have enough time to Test drive a couple vehicles, I had showed up close to closing. On Sunday night I got a call saying my mother was hospitalized. I immediately text/emailed Alfonso, letting him know that I had to fly early the next morning, so he should inform Tony that we needed to reschedule, I should be back in a few days. Hours later I was informed that my mother died!! this changed the narrative. i.e.I needed more than a few days for funeral arrangement etc. Anyway, I spend a few days making funeral arrangements etc "DISTRAUGHT". I then updated Alfonso that my mother had infact died, I still want to purchase the vehicle "a vehicle", but I was busy with funeral arrangements, after the burial I would reach out to him "which would be barely an additional week"...when I was approved Tony said my approval was good for 30 days. First REDFLAG was that Tony asked what monthly payment I would be comfortable paying. I told him and he quoted a monthly payment that was $80.00 MORE nonchalantly, even then I was still going along. Alfonso answered every email I sent until I notified him that my mother had died and I needed a few more days. TOTAL SILENCE!!!.... NOTHING!! I figure he was upset that I didn't rush and get the vehicle immediately or they were stereotyping me "thinking I was backing out, JUDGING me wrongfully or something crazy" ???? Whatever it is, it made no SENSE. He had no business decorum at all. He never even said "Ok, get back to me when everything is taken care of and you are ready"....I didn't necessarily expect a "condolence", just a confirmation that my email was read and a few days was OK, yes or no! I just returned, checked my email and told myself I would take my business elsewhere. I am prepared to buy, so I called another dealer. The sad thing is that I really liked both of them "as people" and thought we would establish a decent business relationship. However, based on this, I believe if I had gotten a vehicle from them and it had problems they wouldn't care! with this in mind I did a research and saw LOTS of negative reports regarding lemons and underhanded deals from Both parties. So, in hindsight my mother's death helped me to dodge a bullet. I don't know if they thought the few thousands I had to put down would go towards the funeral and I probably wouldn't be able to buy anymore>>>???? I am still trying to figure out what happened. In any event, that money was reserved specifically for that purpose and was not used for anything else.
The absolute worst dealership I have ever dealt with. I bought a truck from this the day after Christmas and the engine was gone by March, read the carfax... afterward and the truck had not had an oil change since July and it was being driven for 5-6 months with high mileage, called the manager that sold me the vehicle TONY and he offered no assistance, not even a discount on a new engine I had extended warranty on the vehicle but they wouldn't pay for it because the problem was pre-existing which means the dealership knew that the truck had an issue and sold it anyway. I wouldn't recommend ANYONE buy a vehicle from them if I could give a negative star rating I would
I could write a lengthy review of my experience with this establishment with names and everything but quite honestly it's not worth my time so I'll just... sum it up with some bullet points. - seedy car lot feel the moment you walk on the property - sold a decent truck for what was thought to be a decent price, if you take into consideration inconsistent and sometimes incomprehensible communications throughout the process for an out of town buyer - said truck that passed Virginia inspection once brought home had front shocks leaking and a valve cover leak that will total well over $1500 when said and done, maybe VA has garbage inspections, but it certainly begs to question their touted inspection - was hit with a bogus $70 dealer business tax fee, one that I was just too exhausted to even bring up by the time I got there - they knew I flew in from out of town and was going to drive it 9 hours home and it still took bargaining for them to fill the tank up before leaving - post sale and after 3 weeks of dragging their feet on the getting the registration and title taken care of I had to request they send all of it to me to do myself at my local tag office - icing on the cake: the refund of the tax, title and registration didn't even include transfer and title fee, a mere $28 you say, but the nail in the coffin for what type of establishment this is
Deceptive business practices!!! All set to drive over two hours to purchase a used vehicle when they sold the car right out from under us despite leaving... deposit information, voice mail and email! Financing was all arranged and we were all set! Then they lied when they said they tried to contact us! It’s 2018 and they had our cellphone only to tell us they sold the vehicle. Would never “attempt” a purchase here!!!
I worked with Francisco who was very professional. Tony was awesome as well. Great experience overall!!! I will recommend WBM to all my friends and family.
