My husband and I were very happy with our experience at Chantilly Ourisman Kia. Our sales consultant, Jarred Wilson, was very knowledgeable about the... Kia vehicles they sell so he was able to help us make informed comparisons to make sure we got what we wanted. When we did decide on which vehicle would best meet our needs, the whole staff (Crystal Mullins, Ben Braunstein, Derek Boateng and Jarred) worked together to make sure the buying process went as smoothly as possible. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with this dealership. My husband and I drove an hour to look at a well priced 2017 Dodge Journey... we saw online for our new addition to the family. I traded in my 2013 Honda Accord. As soon as i walked in the receptionist was very nice and upbeat and reassuring to get someone to assist us as soon as possible. Before we could even sit down in the visitor section, a salesman, Anthony Brown came and assisted us. Anthony was truly a pleasure to work with the entire time, funny, down-to-earth, and professional. We were in there for five hours total, but honestly Anthony and the finance person Benjamin made the time seem much shorter. They both were very customer service oriented and relatable. Due to me being pregnant and waiting for the first 3 and half hours, Anthony insisted that he order myself and my husband food, understanding that i may be getting hungry. In the past i have financed three different vehicles and i must say i have never been met with such great customer service. I also went to Carmax earlier that day to have my car appraised. Ourisman Kia accepted my appraisal from Carmax, even though they did not have to, which was truly appreciated. I could go on about several other nice experiences with them, but this is getting a bit long. Lol. Long story short, I definitely recommend this dealership if you are looking for a vehicle. BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!
I really like the way that Scott Hartman greets me and make me feel like a valued customer. He always explains things in a way that I can understand.
My review is for the car. I own a Stinger GT1 AWD and find it is an awsesome car to own and drive. Kudos to KIA engineers who teamed with two German engineers... and produced a world claa GT automobile.
The service department is great and Jeremy and Scott do a fantastic job from the time you arrive until the time you leave. The detailing of my car could... have been a little better but man the Service Department attitude is excellent and customer focus.
I had a very frustrating car buying experience at Ourisman Kia. But first the positive, to be fair. The internet sales person and car sales person gave... fine customer service - responsive, explained the car features well. The facilities are new and nice. But the buying process was horrible. They used all the frustrating, non-transparent sales tactics in the book. Shuttled me between 3 different people playing good cop / bad cop. Made me wait 2 hours (hoping I'd be frustrated into submission). Offered nothing on paper that would actually allow me to understand the price. Offered ZERO flexibility to negotiate on anything. Tried to upsell me on service packages, with non-transparent pricing. Misled me on the incentives, and financing options. Their financing person has nice fancy desk screen, which is snazzy, but tries to rush you through the process without seeing anything on paper, and explained things poorly. Sales manager played hardball, made me seem like my asks were unreasonable. I went all the way through the process, but got so frustrated I left. I am glad I did. I went to another dealership the next day that did not have the Kia I wanted, but they were able to source it from another dealership. They gave me $1000 cheaper price, the option to use my own financing or to use theirs (which was priced a full 1% below Ourisman). And they were straightforward to deal with. Ourisman has all the glitz of a nice new dealership, but unfortunately they use that to try to charm you into a deal that is not as good as you would get from a more transparent, straightforward sales team.
Repeat customer. Had a horrible experience the first time we dealt with them, but when we were considering upgrading after 6 months, decided to go back,... just thinking we would get a better deal dealing with the SAME dealer, being a repeat customer. WRONG. EVER WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The "General Manager" wouldn't give me his name. And the salesman, AARON... are the two worst people I have ever dealt with any dealership in 35 years. I would not recommend dealing with them. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, BS PRICING, and they will just try and lie to make deals, and then make you feel like they are "doing you a favor" by giving you LOWER than market value on our trade. FOR A BRAND NEW vehicle with 7500 miles on it. The texted called my brother after I spoke with him and TEXTED him telling him that I was being rude!!! All because I wanted him to explain the process to me, and he couldn't. When i talked to the GM about the horrible customer service I was getting, he refused to give me his name. He was super short, no emotion, no SORRY or apology for his salesman, in fact he stated that he didn't do anything wrong! I never write reviews... but after this... I am going to tell every single person I know.
Ashley took such great care of me during the process of buying a car. I appreciated the time and effort. I would definitely refer others to this amazing... dealership that clearly cares about the customer experience.
I visited Chantilly Kia after communicating with Crystal by email. I have never been so impressed and satisfied with buying a vehicle. Crystal was informative... and responsive from the time I contacted them through the website. When I arrived for my appointment, she got our sales rep, David, to come over right away. He showed me the vehicle, explained how everything worked, then took us on the test drive. When we arrived back, he sat us down with complimentary beverages and went to have his manager appraise my trade in. He also let me know about the free specials for President's Day weekend. A short while later, he came back with his manager, Ben. We negotiated our trade in value(normal in auto trade ins), then Ben went over finance options. A short while later, he came back with Derek, who led us to his office to go over the paperwork. Derek was informative and patient as I read over the paperwork. We went over everything and were on our way. I received a call the next morning from Scott, to let me know they had my remote start(the item I choose as my free item) in stock. I brought the car in at 11, quickly received a loaner vehicle, went home and received a call back from Scott at 3, which is the time I requested the vehicle to be finished. I received follow up calls from the dealership to ensure I was satisfied with my vehicle. From the time we got to the dealership to when we drove off the lot was... 3 hours!!! Unheard of nowadays, especially when you haven't prearranged financing. I will continuously recommend Ourisman Kia, and in the far future when it's time for a new car, will not hesitate to return.
Crystal and Xavier provided excellent buying experience. Crystal reached out via email with best offer on the model I selected via Nationwide true car... portal. Once I got to the showroom Xavier the sales exec provided excellent service through out the purchase process from demo of the vehicle feature to the price negotiations. Billy GM set a high standard for his staff and facility.
