I went to Renn Kirby Mitsubishi to purchase a used SUV - non-Mitsubishi brand. My sales agent, Tommy, was great to work with - professional, knowledgeable... and helpful. We communicated beforehand about the vehicle to ensure it would align with my expectations and since I was traveling an hour and a half to get there. Once I arrived, there were a few items that I was concerned with - for example, the odometer actually had almost 1500 more miles than advertised. The finance manager stated that doesn't affect price. A few other features were not present, but the price was negotiated down some, so I could live with that. In the end, however, once I left finance and was given my keys, the car had HALF a tank of gas. It was at one-fourth of a tank when I went into financing. I was told the don't fill tanks on SUVs! WTH??? If 1500 miles on an odometer don't matter, why should sending you off with a full tank of gas. And that was when I felt like I was leaving a sleazy used car dealership.
Michael Brown was so awesome in helping us pick and buy a car with absolutely no pressure. My daughter and I really appreciated the time and knowledge... he had at answering our questions. Kevin Steen the manager was also wonderful to us. We recommend this dealership!!
I went onto the companies webpage and from there I directly inquired about a vehicle. I made mention I was at work and unable to speak over the phone directly.... I asked to be emailed because of my work schedule. I did not leave my work # on their webpage. Yet within minutes I received a phone call on my work line (which was upsetting). Again, I let it be know I had specially requested email communication because (again) I am at work. Immediately afterwards I received a one sentence email ending with a question mark and an apostrophe . No apologies even offerred that my message instructions had not been followed. Now the sells person is being a smart aleck in the email by asking / yelling if I am interested in the vehicle that I had messaged about on their webpage. Yes this was rude but I ignored it. Through email I set up a appointment to come in and test the vehicle out. Later that evening after discussing the matter with family I was persuaded to cancel my appointment. I did so through email as nicely as I could. There was no follow up reply from the dealership's sells employee. As a former customer I realize at this point a relationship with me is not of value to them so on to the next dealership.

I didn't buy from this dealer, but would have most definitely if i lived closer. John was super friendly and extremely helpful. I would very much consider... this dealership in the future.

We drove 2 hours for a specific car, so we went in with the intention of buying a car (as long as the numbers add up). They let me know they could not... give me a price on my trade-in without talking to the whole-sellers. I have never heard this before when dealing with a trade-in. So, we drove 2 hours home. We called on Friday at 5pm, they said we still haven't heard from whole-sellers. We called on Saturday and spoke with someone and left a message, no call back. We called Monday morning and expressed our frustrations and were told we would have someone call back. Someone did call back they said they forgot to call us and offered us half of what I wanted and half of what other dealers have offered me for my trade-in. Extremely frustrating process and they missed a sale, because of poor customer service and lowballing the trade-in.

Here's my nightmare story, the short version: went to the dealership on my own (took an uber there, my car was totaled). Started purchase paperwork,... wasn't finished until after close. All other customers were gone. I was left alone in a room with an old man who, while doing the paperwork, made inappropriate conversation with sexual topics. I had no way to leave the dealership without completing the sale and getting car keys. I was stuck there listening to his filth for about an hour and didn't know what to do. I consider his speech to be sexual harassment. Fast forward, three months after buying the car, I STILL DON'T HAVE LICENSE PLATES. Three MONTHS later! I've gone through two sets of temp tags! Every time I call, the title clerk Becky gives me a new excuse. She's messed it up at every turn and the management hasn't helped her out OR helped me out. This place is an absolute MESS.

The sales staff are very helpful and understanding. I had personal and credit issues, but they were very understanding, non-judgemental, and got me the... new car I wanted with no fuss!
