I bought a used 2016 Ram Promaster recently at the price I couldn't believe from Earl. I thought its scam on internet. But I got to try it to prove I... was wrong. Earl was very nice and humble salesman. He gave me positive all of information and convinced me everything was true. I came down from Philadelphia to that dealership in 3 hours trip. We finished the transaction in 30 minutes because I loved the truck as soon as I saw it. Earl helped me even after the purchasing. If I need another truck, this is the first place to check out. After searching for a very long time to locate a pre owned commercial truck with utility body for our electrical business, we were very impressed with... the service provided by 29 Auto. Their straightforward sales staff met with us on the weekend and did everything needed to sell us a great vehicle. After being very disappointed with response and service from other car sales companies across Virginia we didn't have high hopes, but the folks at 29 Auto really took us by surprise by their honesty, responsiveness and desire to sell us a wonderful vehicle at a fair price. We did trade in another vehicle and felt the trade in price was fair. If you are in the market for a commercial vehicle, it is definitely worth the drive to check them out. We came from three hours away and were expecting it to take all day. However, after being there for only a couple of hours, they had us in the truck we wanted and back on our way home to start the new year out with a vehicle that finally meets our business needs!!

I test drove a vehicle that was in great condition during the road test. I decided to purchase the vehicle, and scheduled to pick the vehicle up 2 days... later. Once I had the vehicle in my possession, I noticed certain items that are standard with the vehicle were missing. I also experienced a loud knocking noise coming from the driver’s side undercarriage. When I contact 29 Auto Outlet (a subdivision of Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, VA), 2 days after I purchased the vehicle, they tried avoiding my calls or respond to my emails. I took the vehicle to Country Chevrolets service department and they determined, after going to them twice, that the front struts were bad and need to be replaced. The service department informed me that it would be $1600 to fix the problem. So, 2 days after purchasing a vehicle I was hit with a bill for $1600 that the dealer refuse to pay. One would assume that an honest dealer would have provided customer satisfaction by ensuring the vehicle was in the same condition after a test drive and honor any repairs after the buyer had it for 24 hours. I highly recommend that if you decide to purchase from this dealer that you take the vehicle with you the same day. You may not get the same vehicle and/or parts if you come back any other day.
This was not a typical situation for us considering we put all of our vehicles through an 150pt used vehicle inspection, 3k service and VA state inspe...ction at our franchise Chevrolet store. During this process we were advised that the vehicle needed shocks, in which they were replaced. Not until after the test drive and delivery of the vehicle was the noise/concern brought to our attention. We immediately had the vehicle brought back to our shop in which it was discovered the original replacement part was faulty. We provided a loaner vehicle and replaced the part at no cost to the customer.
Earl was our salesman and knowledgable truck dealer. After several disappointing months of searching and driving far distances for a decent truck that... wasn't falsely advertised, 29 auto outlet made it happen!!! We are so thrilled with our new used 2008 Ford F350 dually truck. After checking out the inventory, (without being harrassed), and seeing that the truck we wanted wasn't being advertised, I asked Earl to check the other sister dealerships and call me if he found the specs we wanted. Within minutes he found what we wanted, drove me to the nearby sister dealership, and we drove that badboy back to 29 outlet and found everything he promised to be true and better! We were so impressed with the attention to detail and even knowledge of the trucks. Other dealerships were selling uninspected trucks and advertising them online as ready to go. Whereas, 29 auto outlet sells these trucks detailed and true to the specs. We would not hesitate to recommend or go back for more trucks!!! Thanks Earl for delivering! 2005 GMC Sierra 3500 DRW 4x4. I Have been searching for this truck for almost 2 years. This truck is what I wanted at a good price. The pics were dead... on. I even got undercarriage pics. I was unable to drive up (90 miles) to make a deal so Mellisa had the truck brought to me with all the paper work. In 10 min I was driving my truck. A done deal. Thanks again Mellisa and the guys that brought it to me.
The people were nice and the buying process went fairly smooth, but I was very disappointed with the way they handled our trade in. They offered us a very... low price (less than half of the blue book trade in price) with the explanation that it was merely a "favor" to us. They said they couldn't sell our van, but would have to resell it to a wholesaler so that's why they couldn't offer more, but they would do that to "help us out". Well, less than two weeks later our van showed up on their web site for nearly 5 times the price they offered us. That really upset me. I know that business is business and they were trying to maximize their profit, but I would have expected that they would have at least been honest in our transaction. I feel sad that they took advantage us dishonestly.
We want to apologize that you feel as if we have taken advantage of you or that we were in any way dishonest. We take a lot of pride in customer satis...faction and want our customers to have a great experience with us. If you are having remorse for trading in your van, we would be more than happy to sell it back to you for our current inventory amount. However, you have to take into consideration we have inquired the cost of a shop bill, detail and advertising. There is always a fair market value for a vehicle when being traded in and a market retail value as well. We currently still have your van and it has not sold for the price we have it listed for. We have the vehicle currently listed above market value with all intentions of keeping it in our inventory for 30/60days before wholesaling it or reducing the price. It was a clean vehicle and runs great and due to a lack of inventory we are currently utilizing it for a dealer demo, considering we specialize in a commercial market and our employees would prefer not to have to drive a dump truck.
After spending countless hours at used car dealers and searching the internet, I spoke to Earl at 29 Auto Sales. I must say this was one of those rare... occasions where the vehicle was actually better than it was described to me and Earl was completely honest from the start. Nothing is more disappointing than seeing MISLEADING pictures on the internet and driving a long distance only to discover the vehicle is in poor condition, NOT THE CASE AT 29 AUTO SALES! They have a great selection and all the vehicles were in great condition. Melissa was great entertaining my 3 year old daughter while I completed the paperwork on my purchase. I bought a 2007 GMC YUKON DENALI XL for $3000 less than the best price I had had gotten during 3 weeks of vehicle shopping. Of all the salesmen I have dealt with, I would recommend Earl over them all! I though my credit union's 3.5% interest rate was a good deal, but Earl beat that and got me 2.9%!!
