The Jeep Grand Wagoneer is overflowing with free lunches for the 2025 model year. Jeep’s full-size luxury twin to the regular Wagoneer, the Grand Wagoneer and its long-wheelbase L version are aimed at vehicles like the Cadillac Escalade/Escalade ESV, GMC Yukon/Yukon XL and Lincoln Navigator/Navigator L. For 2025, the base price of the standard-wheelbase Grand Wagoneer drops a full $7,000 to $86,945, while the extra-long Grand Wagoneer L is down $5,495 to $103,945 (all prices include the $2,000 destination fee).

The lower price is not because Jeep stripped content out of the base trim levels; in fact, the brand did the opposite. Standard equipment now includes forward cross-traffic alert, a driver-attention monitor and road-sign recognition, as well as a 10.25-inch touchscreen for the front passenger, passenger memory seat and 22-inch wheels.

With the regular Grand Wagoneer, Jeep also nailed the engine-refinement trifecta of increasing power and decreasing emissions without impacting fuel economy. The Grand Wagoneer’s High Output Hurricane twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six now makes 540 horsepower and 521 pounds-feet of torque — increases of 30 hp and 21 pounds-feet, respectively, from the 2024 model — while EPA-rated fuel economy remains 14/20/17 mpg city/highway/combined. (Jeep says the Grand Wagoneer L slips to 14/19/16 mpg.) An eight-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive are standard.

Safety Features and Trim Levels

In addition to the new standard safety features for 2025, the Jeep Grand Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer L include forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane departure steering assist, blind spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera system and automated parking. Stellantis’ new hands-free semi-autonomous Active Driving Assist is available on the base and Obsidian trim levels and standard on the Series III.

The entry-level Grand Wagoneer sets a high bar, packed as it is with standard luxury and tech equipment. Off-road capability comes courtesy of Jeep’s adjustable-height air suspension and 4WD system with a limited-slip rear-differential and low range. The Grand Wagoneers are distinguished from the regular Wagoneers by their black roof and tri-pane panoramic moonroof; they also boast LED exterior lighting, a power liftgate, 22-inch wheels, keyless entry and start, and remote start.

The cabin features perforated Nappa leather upholstery, heated and ventilated 24-way power-adjustable front seats, a heated steering wheel, heated and power-adjustable second-row captain’s chairs (an available bench seat increases capacity to eight people), and four-zone automatic climate control. In addition to the new 10.25-inch passenger touchscreen, the standard tech package includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 19-speaker McIntosh sound system and 12-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation and satellite radio.

The Obsidian Package that is standard on the Series II includes black interior and exterior trim, and it upgrades the upholstery from Nappa to Palermo leather.

At the top of the Grand Wagoneer line, the Series III further upgrades the upholstery to quilted leather and adds ventilated second-row seats, a 23-speaker McIntosh audio system, night vision, a rear-seat camera and rearview mirror camera.
